Ziggie’s Cafe

My wife and I eat there quite often. Their breakfast food and lunches are superb. The only problem I have with it is the many people that show up. They work very hard to get you fed and out of there.

I would go Lower if possible. My family of 5 went post church on Sunday. While I realize that is a busy time, it’s busy every Sunday so staff for it. The table was dirty. The bus staff basically through 6 sets of silverware in a pile and 6 coffee cups. Should have known then to go. After 15 min in broken English we were asked if we had been served. We said no. 3 min later a very crabby put out waitress show up. Takes drink orders and goes. Two coffees ordered were old and cold. But ok she takes our order with a snarky remark. 15 more min and had not seen anyone again. No refills and the waitress is no where to be found. At his point we left. Save yourself a headache don’t go to this location. Ever.

I usually haven’t cared for Ziggies all that much. But this one won me over. Sometimes the service leaves a little to be desired but food seems better than the other locations. Just seems to be my experience. Sounds like I had the opposite experience as the other reviewer. May have just been when I went, but I will be going back again.

I hate giving places bad reviews. Especially when it is a specific branch of a chain that I have enjoyed in the past.
However, this was not at all a good experience.
First — the tables are WAY too small. To be honest, the four of us in the booth were incredibly cramped and could barely fit our plates and drinks on the table.
The food was sub par — my daughter ordered strawberry crepes. What she got was pancakes with slabs of plain cream cheese wrapped in normal pancakes. It was so bad that her friend that was with us wouldnt even eat hers. When I mentioned it to the server her comment was basically that she would check the description in the menu.
There is nothing welcoming or remarkable about this location — which is a shame. We were quite excited to have a Ziggie’s near us, but we won’t be going again.
