Truman Elementary School-Park

Springfield and Greene County have gone above and beyond building some phenomenal trails, parks and playgrounds.
Truman Elementary School — Park is one of the places that doesn’t make me feel bad about paying taxes! This park includes a playground, multiple soccer fields and a paved 5-​mile trail.
This school is less than a mile away from my sister’s house which makes it extremely convenient for my nephews who attend Truman Elementary. The looping trail is 5 miles and completely paved. It is perfect for running, walking or biking. Since a large portion of the trail is thru heavily wooded terrain, I don’t know that I would feel comfortable going all the way to Stoneridge by myself. However, there are a lot of folks who utilize the trail during all hours of the day and night.
This is a beautiful park that just about anyone would enjoy.
