Treemendous Tree Service LLC

My house has a big tree along the driveway which doesn’t seem healthy and I concerned it might fall down to the driveway. So, I searched the web and called «Treemendous Tree Service». He gave me a quotation for the tree removal work including other trees in my property and said that he will finish it over two days (three days apart) since a big tree is required more time to work.
After first day’s work, I gave two third of quoted money even though he only finished one third of work according to his quotation. He left the big tree which concerned me most and cost most of his quotation.
However, once he received the money in the first day, he never showed up for the rest of work (big tree). Since then, he didn’t answer my phone calls/​voicemails asking when he is gonna come back to finish the work and sparsely answered my texts. He kept saying he needs to arrange the schedule to come back. Over a month, he was saying same thing (arranging the schedule) with text (never answer the phone calls) and now saying he hasn’t owed anything to me and the work he already did was worth the money I already gave him.
He even refused to refund the difference between money I gave and quoted money for the work done so far.
In the end, big tree is still there and he took the more money than worth of works he did and is refusing to finish the work.
I sincerely recommend other potential customers to think twice (or three times) before hiring him if you want to avoid all the troubles.

These folks removed a tree for me. The entire process was pretty painless except we kept playing phone tag and it took six weeks or so to finally get it done. For that I deducted one star but I would use them again, understanding that I’ll probably have to wait.
