The Great Frame Up

What an incredible store. I needed two custom frame jobs fast as gifts for my parents. I was leaving town Tuesday morning to go out of town to get married. The owner helped me pick the perfect frames and matting for my job. I wanted text printed and framed along side the pictures and he sized and printed that as well as scanning in perfect quality and printing the photos to be framed. I’m heading back today to have our Ketubah framed. This is a large watercolor painting in Hebrew calligraphy that is our actual marriage contract. I highly recommend this store for any special framing jobs — old photos, documents, ect. There are endless options for frames and matting– some more expensive than others. In terms of quality, attention to detail, flexibility, and customer service you cannot beat this store and it is worth every penny!

Over the past 5 years, I’ve had the pleasure of getting several pieces framed at the Great Frame Up in Springfield PA. The owner Anh is extremely knowledgeable and professional when servicing his customers. The work performed is exceptional which is why this is my preferred choice for framing artwork and restoring old photos. They also have a very pleasant atmosphere which immediately puts you at ease and makes you feel comfortable.

Needed a piece of art framed in a rush and had never dealt with getting any art framed. The staff had an obvious love of art and showed me all of my options. The matting and the frame he suggested made the painting «come to life» and really looked great. Staff was friendly, extremely knowledgeable and knows how to really make art look incredible. The price was even lower than some of the «big box» stores that offered the same services (although I doubt they have the same passion and expertise). Coming from a family of artists, I already know where the next picture is going to get framed. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

The Great Frame Up was my third stop on a mission to get an awkwardly sized print matted and framed. The two other stores were unable to meet my needs. The mat color I wanted was unavailable or just too small.
Ahn had the color I wanted and a solution to sizing issue that none of the others suggested. Courteous, professional, and friendly (and beat the other quoted prices by $ 25), shopping at The Great Frame Up was a great experience.
Go to the big box, coupon driven stores if you must, but give Ahn a shot and you may be pleasantly surprised. I was.

Everything I had framed (4 items) turned out great and really added to my home as anticipated. Mr. Luong is thorough and ensures quality on the work being done. He even offered to fix a piece that needed the frame replaced as a thank you for my business. The Great Frame Up is a great company and this location rocks!

I came here a complete novice to the idea of framing art. Ahn took his time with my fiancée and I showing us what would work with the prints we came in. Ahn turned our cheap prints purchased online to fine pieces of art. To this day I still think it is money well spent. The prints took a little over 2 weeks to be done but it was well worth the wait. I am a fan and plan on coming back for custom framing in the future.

I was able to get a beautiful frame customized and completed right before Christmas in a short amount of time. Anh was able to help me choose both a frame and matting that fit nicely with a painting of our home. I would recommend this to anyone looking for both beautiful framing and excellent customer service.

The great frame up did a great job on my autographed masters pin flag from Phil mickleson. The owner was very nice, knowledgable and is very trustworthy with your important merchandise… I liked the job so much I brought my us open pin flag to him so I could have matching frames, it’s easy to spend a lot of money on frames but he will work with you so you are satisfied with not only the finished product but the price as well. Oh yea and the craftsmanship was top notch.

I had two small diploma-​type pieces framed and could not be happier with the end result. The owner was very helpful at every stage of the process, and I was pleased to find out that all work is performed on the premises. Some might find the prices high, but I truly believe you get what you pay for. As the saying goes, «the bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of a low price is forgotten.» I will certainly be back to The Great Frame Up for all my framing needs.

Really loved the work TGFU did on a diploma I needed framed. The owner was courteous, helpful, and professional. I needed a bit of a rush-​job, and he did it without any issues and didn’t even charge me extra! Definitely would recommend to others!

I had a picture that I got for free at a garage sale framed and it looks like a million bucks! I was going to hang it in the guest room, but now I’m thinking that it deserves a more visible location.
I also two other pictures matted and they look fantastic! The owner of the Great Frame Up helped me pick a black matting and I love it.
My art looks beautiful and the service was fantastic — I will definitely have all of my framing done here.

The great frame up can do more than just frame your pictures. Anh does photo restorations, also anh can tackle frame conservations and restorations, and he can gold leaf. whenever i am in the media, wallingford, swathmore area i refer anh and the great frame up.
