Ok, I tend to try and stay away from Unilocaling about chain fast food joints, because EVERY single one of them have this exact same problem I’m about to describe. It doesn’t matter if it’s a burger joint, a mexican food joint, etc, they ALL have this exact same problem. We stopped here before grocery shopping cause we were all hungry, and didn’t want to impulse buy at the grocery store. We get to the drive thru, we order from some kid that sounded like we just interrupted his text session or something. We order, asked for a couple special things(no tomatoes on my wife’s tacos, no hot sauce on the kid’s soft shells, and my drink I wanted easy ice). We get our order, drive off. All our orders were wrong. We said to heck with eat we’ll just eat. A little later my wife and I had a slight case of «loose bowel movement», and the only thing we ate that afternoon was this place(this was now 6pm). Every time we go here, McDonalds, Fazzoli’s, and a few other lower scaled fast food places we get this. The kids behind the counter have an attitude problem, or don’t check our order or get us the right order(but yet they want 15 an hour to do their job), and certain things they make are either loaded down with salt, or swimming in grease. I don’t know why we always pick the bad ones when we’re in a hurry and I can’t understand how these mental midgets keep their jobs. Usually it’s the kids who want us to stop there, but I think from now on if we want mexican we’ll go to Chipotle if we want burgers we’ll go to steak n shake, burger king, or hardees, and if we want sandwiches, we’ll go to pita pit. Taco Bell, Mcdonald, Fazzoli, Subway, all suck.

The food ordered this time around was correct. There was only one small issue with my party’s purchases, and it was not something that their team needed to have addressed. Having trash bags full of garbage on the floor is a turn off. The business did not appear adequately staffed for a Saturday afternoon due to the fact that several orders where placed before this was resolved. The associate that was on counter, forgot to place out wet floor signs when cleaning up a mess, thankfully the floor seemed to dry quickly and no one was hurt.

Part of me is resentful that I’m even reviewing a Taco Bell in the first place, but it always shocks me how utterly, utterly slow the drive-thru service is at this particular one. Not only is that pretty maddening, but I can say in confidence that I end up receiving the wrong order about 20% of the time, and that’s statistically accurate. Basically, almost every time I come here with friends or alone, somebody ends up making a comment along the lines of «Man, what is this Taco Bell’s deal?» And so, I have to ask — what in blazes is this Taco Bell’s deal?! I do love the tacos, though. Absolutely no shame.

Ate a snack at Taco Bell with my granddaughters, watched an Iowa Texas b-ball game while eating a yummy snack!

«Eek! Methinks not» was the caption that appeared for a 1 star rating and Unilocal just took the words right out of my mouth. A few years ago I found a toenail clipping(or perhaps a very large, thick thumb nail clipping) in my potato taco and while I realize that 79 cents is amazingly cheap and I should just accept whatever slop goes into it, c’mon.

As an addendum to what I wrote before(which remains true), lately this Taco Bell(and perhaps others in town; I have not checked them) has begun offering free wifi access. This Taco Bell has very friendly staff in general, too, not just the angel I mentioned in my last review. If you don’t mind Taco Bell’s food, this is a great place to eat.
