I bought a poulan riding mower from Sutherlands in April of 2012. There is a problem with the deck on this mower. It is a munufactured defect. They will not let me reture it. They keep it a secret that they have a no return policy on mowers. If they would have been truthful about that I would not have bought from them. But when you ask about their policy they say keep your receipt. All other mower sellers allow returns for 30 days. I will never buy anything from them again. And I advise others to do the same. Stay away from Sutherlands

This place has AWESOME sales on plants in the spring and some pretty good deals on heaters in the winter. Super helpful staff. I was sent here for toggle bolts, something I had no clue what were or that there were even different kinds and lengths of, and I told the guy there what they were being used for and he knew exactly which ones I needed and HE WAS RIGHT! I was in and out of the store in less time than it would’ve even taken to me to find someone at Lowes or HD. Plus it’s a local family owned store so I feel better doing business with them than with a big faceless corporation.

If you’re looking for that small town hardware store feel, you’ll find it at Sutherlands. This hardware store/​lumber yard will actually help you when you have a question and they are small enough to be able to find what you are looking for the first time. There prices are affordable and, I’ve found, sometimes less than the big home improvement centers. So if you need a screw or a truck for of lumber, Go see the folks at Sutherlands and they’ll fix you right up.
