This location is in the Boardwalk Fries strip mall, next to the closed down billiard place. It’s one of those places where regular folks dine and know the staff. They offer a brunch/breakfast menu on the weekends. They will provide you with a lunch/dinner menu if you ask. I ordered one of those triple decker club sandwiches(ham, turkey, bacon, lettuce). It was lightly toasted and larger than the average sandwich. It would have used more dressing or mustard. The side of fries that came with the sandwich were very good. Service was good, except the server never came back to refill our waters.

Decent food at reasonable prices. We bring the kids on Sundays for brunch and it’s our go-to place when we want a gyro, sub, or burger. Like others have said, it’s not always the cleanest but that has improved in recent years. As far as the wait staff, we’ve always had excellent service. Staff are courteous, welcome everyone like old friends, and food is served fast and hot. My faves are the gyro platter, zucchini sticks, Greek salads, and the chicken steak sub. Pizza is ok, but not something I regularly order. Their house chianti is also amazing… and cheap. We usually eat there a couple times/month and almost always see someone we know. I guess you could say it’s like the Cheers of West Springfield.

This is one of our family’s favorite local restaurants. Friendly staff, good food and reasonable prices. Great place for kids. Greek and italian is their thing.

Not terrible, but still sucks. There was a middle aged lady serving us with maybe a Greek accent, but I couldn’t tell for sure. She was super pushy and practically started yelling at us because we took too long to order. She was about as pushy as a guy working at jumbo slice at 3am on a saturday with a line of 20 people. We may have put her off because we asked her if the AC was on when we were seated. She told us it was 75 degrees as if that wasn’t hot, and it was probably actually warmer than what she told us, but anyways who wants to go to a restaurant where they’re too cheap to turn on the AC. The food was so-so and I’d probably go back there if I had to, if it weren’t for the crappy service. You’d think that someone working for tips could figure out that they should be nice to the customers, and not be rude and pushy especially after we waited 20 minutes to be seated, the place wasn’t busy either.

I’ve been coming here for 20 years and I’ve never been disappointed. Greek restaurants never get Italian flavor right, so skip those items but get everything else: the gyros, souvlaki, spanikopita, pizzas, subs, sandwiches, soups. It’s all delicious! I don’t understand the bad reviews below, but I do think they are the exception.

I’m surprised more people have not reviewed this place. I love coming here for comfort foods like Chicken, Spinach and Mushroom Garlic White Pizza, Baked Spaghetti with Meat Sauce, Mushrooms, Onions and EXTRA Cheese. Yes Extra… I really love Cheese… Although I will be honest, even if you DON’T order EXTRA they still give you a generous amount. So… be sure to really want EXTRA when ordering extra. I also really enjoy the Greek Salad here, primarily the dressing is what makes the actual salad. It’s a homemade creamy Parmesan based dressing. The best part is you can buy it to go in generous size jars. Unfortunately, the Greek salad is made with all iceberg lettuce. If they used at least romaine, it would be just perfect. Because in the end, you’re paying too much for a salad with just iceberg lettuce. Additionally, I have also enjoyed the fried zucchini sticks appetizer that are accompanied with a delicious dill sauce. My friends have ordered the Greek dishes, sandwiches, and pizzas — they all seemed to be satisfied.

This is a very dirty restaurant. I found 2 hairs in the salad, an insect in the iced tea and there was a flea or some small insect in the vinegar. I complained to the OWNER and he simply gave me a $ 5 credit. I brought the vinegar bottle for him to see, and he claimed it was a fruit fly. A fruit fly is small and hard to spot, this was definitely a flea. I will never never go there again. Take a look at the restroom and that is definitely a good indication of the restaurant and the level of cleanliness.

Down-home Greek and Italian cooking at it’s best. Great food, great service, and great people. You can’t go wrong with any Greek dish.

Milano’s is a good solid family restaurant with above average food for better than average pricing. this is where you go for a club sandwhich, a greek salad, or any hot or cold sub. it’s not haute cuisine, but that’s why it’s filled with families with kids every night — they make a mean grilled cheese!
