Absolutely excellent coffee. Simple décor; casual atmosphere. Wonderful place to meet friend for business or R&R time. In the heart of down town. Great barbers right down the street at Hudson Hawk!

While all of their drinks are good, hot chocolate and mocha are easily the two best drinks on the menu. The service is always great. The baristas are all very welcoming. I’ve been going here for almost a year now. It’s a great place to study or read a book.

If you call yourself a ‚“coffee person”, because you drink Starbuck’s Frappacinno’s and syrupy lattes-this place is not for you.(Don’t get me wrong, I like a good sugar+coffee rush now and again, but you cannot compare Kingdom Coffee & Cycles to chain coffee drinks.) Cycles Kingdom Coffee is a wonderful place for true coffee connoisseurs. I visited here after a run downtown while my friend and I were looking to try something new. It is a great place to relax and escape from the busy-ness of life. The quaint and quiet space combines the cycle shop with ethically sourced coffee for a unique experience. I will be back to try something else when I am downtown.

I stopped in an had a solo espresso. They pulled the best shot that I’ve had in Springfield. Very unique flavor! Definitely give them a shot.

A very beautifully curated shop in a nice, downtown corner location. The cleanliness + aesthetically pleasing décor make this shop an ideal place to study, socialize or hang out. Their coffee is some of the best + their homemade pastries are impossible to pass up. The staff is very friendly + welcoming. They are very knowledgable + always eager to make suggestions on what to order.

I’m usually an americano drinker. Sometimes I’ll go for regular old coffee(especially if given the option of a pour over), but we wandered in on a rainy Friday evening and I was feeling more like a latte, so I ordered one and OHMYGOD I’M SOGLAD I DID. It was seriously the best latte I’ve ever had — and I’ve lived in Seattle, so I’m just going to let that sink in for a minute. It was the perfect magical combination of an expertly pulled shot of espresso with the creamiest, impeccably steamed milk. I almost wanted to stop drinking it so that it would never be gone, but nope, couldn’t stop because it was just too good. The owner was super nice and was chatting with me and my dude while we enjoyed our beverages, but seriously, I would return even if they had the worst service in town because THATLATTE. Ugh, now I can’t even appreciate all the other lattes in town. I’ll just be sticking to americanos when at any other springfield coffee shop to save myself from future disappointment.

I am not a coffee drinker. They suggested an espresso with honey. Not to sweet but great flavor. Served in cup and saucer. The atmosphere is inviting. You can pick a table to work or study, or you can sit on a comfy couch. Full length windows on the front of the space let a lot of light in, even in a cold cloudy day. Locally owned community minded Christians.

I have had coffee here twice and the coffee and service is excellent. Wether you get the house coffee or special coffee you won’t be disappointed. The selection of baked goods is small but you should be able to find a tasty treat. They are close to covered parking.

My friends and I deciding to meet here for coffee the other day. The location was terribly hard to find, parking was a nightmare, not to mention the part of town it was in. I had high expectations after reading the reviews and was disappointed. The customer service was awful, everyone seemed annoyed when I asked for a to go cup. The coffee was disguising and over priced. Even the chocolate was a disappointment.

I like the clean, minimalistic atmosphere, it gives it a sophisticated feel. It is a bit pricey but it is always quality. Great quiet, calm place to get some business done.

By far the best coffee in Springfield. Plenty of room and fast free wifi. I’ve been to coffee shops everywhere and Kingdom is one of the best anywhere. They bake their own treats which are always amazing. Just don’t too attached to one because they change them often. I can’t speak in the bike side of things, that part is the shop still hasn’t opened.

Kingdom Coffee and Cycles is simply stunning. Everything about this shop is perfect and as it should be. Springfield, Missouri no longer disappoints when it comes to speciality coffee. For those of you who frequented The Hub off Boonville Ave, Kingdom is the reboot – and what a superb job they did with it. The location is a drastic improvement, now located downtown off S Market Ave. In terms of atmosphere, the main room is filled with natural light and the walls and surfaces are accented in dark hardwoods. It is unassuming, minimalist, and very comfortable. There is plenty of space which makes the room feel clean and airy. The coffee is the best I’ve had in Springfield. Actually, it’s the best I’ve had short of Intelligentsia in Chicago. I ordered an espresso(Populace) and a pour over(Intelligentsia). Both were excellent, perfectly extracted, and complex. I really appreciate baristas who know what they are doing, and Kingdom baristas can certainly claim that. After my so-so experience at The Hub those many months ago, I wasn’t sure what I would be getting this time around. I’m so glad I came. It’s been a while since I did a double take on a cup of coffee, but I was so pleasantly surprised when my mouth lit up at the first sip. Everything from the atmosphere, style, coffee, and presentation is just as it is meant to be. (Special appreciation to Intelligentsia and Populace, too. They deserve a lot of the credit for the great roast.)

Quality pour-over/hand crafted coffee right in the Queen City. Everything about this place is stellar: from the baristas, to the furnishings, and to the coffee. Kingdom Coffee & Cycles should be a staple to your downtown experience. So make your life a little brighter, walk in, and order a cappuccino.

Note for coffee lovers the city ‘oer: Kingdom used to be The Hub; The Hub is now Kingdom. I mean, in essence, anyway — Kingdom is a re-imagined version of The Hub and now looks exactly as good as the products it sells. Not that it didn’t before, but Kingdom’s new space is now just stupidly awesome. The modern seating, the roughly-hewn but nicely finished wood installations, the big windows and touches of light, and the debonair staff remind me to a serious degree of the famous Intelligentsia location I visited in Los Angeles. But the differences exist, too, and these differences make it truly Springfield: the staff has time to shoot the breeze with you or tell you what’s good and the location is actually pretty quiet despite being a block or two from the busiest part of downtown. As for the coffee, you’re in good hands: Kingdom offers Intelligentsia, MadCap, Populace, and Crema. You can order it by the bag or by the cup. You can also order house drinks from chai lattes to americanos; whenever I went to Drury I would stop in at The Hub and order an iced mocha at least once a week. Once summer hits I imagine I’ll be back to doing this regularly, although the idea of a soul-warming pour over regularly tempts me. I went to their soft opening on Friday evening and was all coffee-d out for the day, so I picked up a bottled ginger ale from a little fridge full of tasty sodas they now offer at the counter. The presence of this and enticing food treats(see Exhibit A, cupcake photo) officially makes Kingdom a great place for all, coffee drinkers or non. I’d love to see some bike racks go in next to the shop, but seeing as Kingdom is partially a bike shop, I’m 99% sure this is just a work in progress. Oh, and speaking of bikes, this is a stellar place to purchase a bike or take yours in for repairs. I was gifted a lovely Linus from The Hub last year and it’s possibly my favorite personal asset apart from my cat. I also was able to take it in for a free tune-up a few months after owning it. Review in summary: Go.
