KFC

I know KFC is at a decline right now, but this KFC has to be the one of the worst ones I’ve seen.
I came in during my lunch break with my boyfriend. The store was completely empty. The moment we walked in, the lady behind the counter barked at us, «Dine in or togo?». Slightly confused, we answered «Dine in,» but we were far from ready to order. After a moment, my boyfriend decided to order first. Earlier today, he found a Honey BBQ Sandwich when browsing their nutrition facts, but when he tried to order it, he was immediately shut down. They apparently did not serve that item at that store despite it being on their nutrition facts. This caused us to take some more time to decide on our order, but the cashier lady did not seem to like that, because for the rest of our ordering experience, her responses were extremely cold and abrupt, as if she wanted us out of her sight as fast as possible. We ended up getting a famous bowl and a 2-​piece meal.
When the food came, it was extremely underwhelming. My two pieces of dark chicken were tiny little things and soggy to the touch. The skin and meat fell apart easily, but had little to no flavor. The mashed potatoes and gravy also had barely any flavor, and I noticed that they had stacks of preprepared containers in warmers behind the counter. That made me wonder how long my mashed potato was sitting in there for. The previous time I came to this KFC, my mashed potatoes were watery and sour, as if they had turned bad. My boyfriend’s bowl had a small handful of tiny nuggets that were more fried batter than actual meat. The nuggets had no other flavor other than salt and batter, and barely contained any chicken.
We had to force down this food in order to finish it, and left extremely disgusted. Even though we had low expectations, this KFC was unbearable. On the ride back to work, my stomach became nauseous from the food. We both decided that we will never return.
