They were wonderfully patient with us. They also were available by phone easily. We needed some time to make some decisions and such.
They treated us with just as much dignity and courtesy as they would if we had bought a casket, scheduled a visitation there on Walnut Street, used their chapel for the funeral service, etc.
It didn’t seem to matter to them that all we needed and wanted was cremation.
They also had the most affordable cremation price in town, from what we could tell.

We’d had no plans in place when my mother passed away at 4:00am. The home asked us who to call and we said Lohmeyers because we knew the name from other church funerals. Joel met me there within :45 minutes, was very respectful and calm and made me very comfortable about how my mother was going to be taken care of. They handled all the cremation details, met with me concerning urns and payment the next day, got the certificates for me and filed all the paperwork. They handled everything calmly and sensitively, with no pressure to do anything other than the intended cremation.
