We were in the market for 3 toilets since all of ours in our house were probably as old and decrepit as our grandparents (I’m not kidding). Our house is ~100 yrs old and in desperate need of pretty much everything minus the charm. I’m generally pretty good about fixing things as they break, but all of our toilets are in need of some finnagling or a strong core when doing your business. So on a whim while we were out and about I mentioned checking this place out.
Location: The showroom is quite nice with working faucets, toilets, showers, and bathtubs to give you an idea of their operation (~10% are working).
Staff/​Attention to Detail. The wife already had a pretty good idea of the toilet she wanted so we asked if they could order it for us. The sales person looked it up and we ordered 3 Kohler toilets (interesting note for a store to display Kohler in their showroom, means that is the only brand shown). They told us they should have it in2 weeks and upon receipt of the toilets they would give us a call. 4 weeks in I call them and was informed they were expecting it in a week or so and that I would get a call. We received the toilets about 5 weeks in. As luck would have it one of our toilets was cracked so we had to get a replacement. The time it took to get a replacement was ridiculous. It took about 3 – 4 weeks before the showroom could even get ahold of the Kohler rep to inquire about our issue to ensure we could get the replacement free of charge. I think called about 3 times and sent 2 emails during the 3 – 4 week span of waiting for an answer about the replacement. Never once did they initiate the conversation. Then once again once I was informed it would be free and that they would contact once they had a date for pickup. They didn’t I called them and «they had just received it that day, and were about to call me». The whole experience left a pretty sour taste in my mouth. The staff were friendly but I definitely felt ignored. I could have gotten these toilets $ 100 cheaper per toilet online, but we liked the fact that they would be our voice to the manufacturer if something did go wrong. I’m pretty sure I could have used faucets direct and had an easier/​expedient time returning the broken toilet.
Bottom Line: Very nice selection of bath and kitchen décor priced on average with other brick and mortar locations. Staff are friendly but lack follow up communication, or resolving issues without incessant pestering from the customer.
