I moved to Springfield a few years ago and needed to establish myself with a good optometrist. I’ve worn glasses since 3rd grade (trust me… that was a many many years ago!), and worn contacts since high school. A friend highly recommended Dr. Holmes and Chesterfield EyeWorks and I’m so glad she did. Dr. Holmes is very knowledgeable and listens to my concerns. I hadn’t worn contacts since a previous eye infection. Dr. Holmes fitted me with some very comfortable contacts and I couldn’t be happier.
I also got some great glasses. The Optical staff are helpful and patient with me trying to pick out something colorful and quirky.
I highly recommend Chesterfield EyeWorks.

What can I say about Chesterfield Eye Works?
Let me start with the pros.
Great facility, with a wide variety of stock to choose from. Optometrist was friendly, professional, and took great care in my examination.
Now the dreaded cons…
The front end staff was rude, snarky, and unprofessional. Without going into great detail, they botched my original order. After correcting the issue, they still wanted to charge me full price for their error, stating that the insurance was the problem. What it boils down to is the front end was too lazy or just not concerned with taking care of the issue.
Along with those concerns, my glasses have not stood up to the daily wear a pair should stand up to.
I had high expectations for Chesterfield Eye Works, and they greatly disappointed.
I would not recommend.

Dr. Holmes is a fabulous Optometrist doctor and I recommend him to anybody looking for exquisite care, and the staff is also very friendly and helpful.

Very well informed staff. Did an awesome job getting me in and the exam was pretty quick. Helped with picking out glasses and informed me of all cost throughout the process. 5 star staff and facility! !
