I went shopping for Christmas gifts and when checking out I asked for a gift receipt. The cashier actually said S!@t. Rude and totally inappropriate. Sorry, but it being December 9, I didn’t think that it would cause so much of an issue. He carried on so much, I just said never mind. I think during this holiday season it should a standard question. Not good guys

The store is basic BB&B. It’s clean, packed with stuff you’d expect, open 0930 – 2130. The issue I have is that they don’t correctly price the products. It’s difficult to figure out what something costs when the price tags don’t match what is in front of them. On my last visit, the luggage I picked out had a tag that said 59.99, rings up at the register as 89.99. The manager admitted the sign was wrong but refused to honor the price. I’ll go to a store than can get the basic right from now on.

Very decent BBB. Items are usually well stocked and organized. I’m just little disappointed that their toiletry section isn’t as bag as the one in Columbia heights or pentagon row. But associates are helpful and cashiers are friendly.

Manager Kyle cnt and don’t know how to return your money after their mistake of processing it. Usually managers are able to override this.

I love this store and for over 7 years I have been coming to this location & always get excellent service. Tonight I had to sadly return my favorite Breville Keurig pod machine because it was making cold coffee vs hot. :(. I have had few issues since I bought the Breville but for the last few days it was consistent cold coffee. I was very sad to exchange my Breville for Keurig 2.0−450. I just hope this one will last me a long time with no issue. I don’t like to put negative reviews on Unilocal but the manager at Springfield location was rude; first time ever having a bad experience at this location. :(. Will I go back? Definitely because it was only one time bad experience and I believe in giving everyone second chances.

Very clean store with a large selection. Everything was easy to find with the help of the kind workers walking around.

The store itself was decent and had a good selection of what we were looking for. Pretty much your typical fair for this store. Staff/Customer Service was not that great. My wife asked an employee in the section for help and they pretty much just ignored her. On a different occasion the cashier was a bit pushy/rude and didn’t really give us good quality service. After going there twice we probably won’t go there again as there are better stores that we can use instead that we hope will give us better service.

The store itself is alright, but the customer service is phenomenal. I was sad that this store didn’t have any nail polish(what I came to spend my $ 5 off coupon on). But I ended up leaving satisfied with kitchen items and a gift for my boss. I asked an employee for help to find a vegetable steamer since they have so many kitchen utensils that it’s almost overwhelming. He noticed I had a lot in my hands and started to run to get me a shopping cart. I told him it was the last thing on my list, so I’d be fine. But it was really sweet of him. The steamers were in two different places and he ran around showing me both of them(way nicer than just pointing me in the general direction). When I was leaving, I also saw an employee helping a baby-holding customer load items into her car. I thought it was above and beyond. I’ll definitely return here again because the customer service is so great.

Sad face. I’m actually a big fan of BBB but this location leaves a lot to be desired. No selection of trial sizes. Wall décor items are actually on the wall in front of the register making it difficult to look at 90% of items up close. Friendly staff — but glacially slow management when you run across one of the oodles of items without a price or not clearly marked. Poor store organization — did 2 laps looking for a very common item before I broke down and asked someone — and even then I had trouble finding it. My impression of this location — where home goods go to die. From now I’ll just head to the Baileys Crossroads location that I usually go to. Hopefully when they are done killing Springfield Mall and the new Town Center is in place this store will again be representative of the chain as a whole.

Great store. It’s a chain, but the employees have never been anything but helpful. It is usually very busy, but most if not all the registers are going. It’s a typical bed bath and beyond but I’ll give 4 stars because I actually enjoy going there because of the customer service.

Most of the the time, a chain store is a chain store. But I like this one BB&Y because of Chris. He’s the best reason to go here. No, I am not perving on the dude. He’s a life saver when you need to find the right thing. Ever shop for a lesbian wedding gift? Yeah. Chris didn’t bat an eye and helped me find a great gift. Otherwise, I come here for hard-to-find cleaning products(I really am that damn picky). I buy feather-free pillows and avoid all the frufru over perfumed nonsense

Been to one, been to ‘em all. Bed Bath & Beyond are pretty much the same. That said, the BBBY in Springfield is the best one in the area that I’ve encountered so far. It has free parking, the store is well-lit, clean, organized and less cluttered and chaotic than others especially the one on Pentagon Row. Best of all, I had a 20% off coupon in hand they had what I was looking for. Plenty of check out lanes were open ensuring I didn’t have to wait long at all to pay and get on with my Saturday afternoon! When I need to channel my inner Frank«The Tank» on a Sat with the GF, this is the Bed Bath & Beyond that I’ll frequent.

Dude. I should get a «Best Shopper of the Year» Award from BB&B because I am spending the better part of my(mother’s) salary here. It’s the coupons! The evil 20% off coupons that pour into my home on a daily basis that pull me in, drooling excitedly over things that i probably don’t need, like PedEggs, cordless motorized carpet sweepers and tray tables, oh the tray tables. I know BB&B isn’t exactly a local business that desperately needs our consumer support, but damned if I can’t go in there and find just what I need(or don’t) every single time I have a to do list. For instance, a smart looking bathroom mirror was the perfect fit for our small room, and I hadn’t found anything comparable at any other home décor store(and for 20% off!). You’ll find mattress pads and curtains, iPod accoutremont and even Redskins paraphenalia. They used to have some kickass lamps but I find the selection below average now, but I have to give serious props to the small furniture that BB&B sells. I’ve found a tv tray set that I ended up buying twice over(20% off!)and a night table for my mother’s room, and though I haven’t bought it, there is a cool bar table with two stools that have that sloping butt-shape to them. Then there are the kitchen rugs, doormats, artwork and the coolest thing, Bamboo sheets($ 69.99 for a Full sized set). Seriously, if you go to BB&B for only one thing(with your 20% off coupon), get the bamboo sheets! They are the SOFTEST sheets I’ve ever slept on. they totally blow the cotton thread count mafia out of the water. I won’t buy another set of scratchy, overpriced cotton sheets ever again!
