I bought a Whirlpool washer and dryer set from Scott’s Trading Post. The appliances were very good, but the dryer did not quite fit properly in our utility closet, because the door was too wide. For no extra charge Brian the technician came out and retrofitted it with a different style of door, and now it fits fine. He is very competent and honest. LeLainia, the owner has been very helpful and accommodating to make sure that I was satisfied with my purchase. She is very knowledgeable and hard-​working. I recommend to anyone looking for a used appliance to buy one from them!

Scott’s Trading Post sent a technician to inspect my washering machine, which stopped working unexpectedly. They could have fixed the problem for several hundred dollars, but I think rightly suggested I go shopping. Spending $ 500 or more on a 12-​year-​old appliance was probably not the best choice, and I found a highly rated replacement for $ 805. The experience with Scott’s was excellent. They were quick, very reasonably priced, friendly, and had my best interests in mind. For the next appliance that breaks, I’ll certainly call Scott’s Trading Post again.

I’ve been to the «other guy & his wife» down the street and will never go back. The new owners have done great w/​this place. The new location is clean & well organized. I wish them well and will be back when I need a new to me appliance, parts or service.

We love these folks! They would have fixed the ol’ Kenmore in the rental house one more time, but instead we had them swap it out for a slightly newer model, that matched the dryer — and for really not much more than fixing the old. And with a nice little warranty to boot. They made the trip out to the country, diagnosed the problems, laid out our options, brought out the replacement, swapped it out, took the old one and called and let us know all was handled. And all done with expertise and friendly courtesy. Lainie knows this business and took really good care of us! So glad to find her.

Not only did Brian not charged me the 1st call because some one had put the wrong part in my fridge and it burned the compressor out., he gave us a loaner. Lalaine is awesome, she kept in contact with me and instead of a week we got fidge back in2 working days.. If you want to make Lalainie’s day bring her some dark chocolate raisinettes. Nice people.

I am VERY happy with the customer service provided by Scott’s. I had a problem with a newly purchased used washing machine, and called to get someone to come out and help. After describing the problem over the phone, they said it sounded like an easy fix, and described how to remove the console and check to make sure the lid switch plug hadn’t been disconnected during the move. It had! I plugged it back in, and it works just fine. I am so appreciative that Scott’s helped me fix my own machine over the phone, with no need for a house call. I will absolutely be bringing all my appliances to Scott’s in the future!

I had a problem with my washing machine and called around to a few different appliance repair companies. Two told me it wasn’t even something they’d be interested in coming to look at and the other told me it would be $ 75 just to get to my front door. I left a message for Scott and he called me back the same day. He stopped by my place in less than an hour, spent about 20 minutes or less, fixed the machine for a very reasonable price and was on his way.
