The staff is very friendly and the services are great, but they are always behind. If time is valuable to you, this place may not be for you. Otherwise, always plan for 1.5 times as long as they tell you the appointment is for.

No complaints about Dr Bagden or the orthodontic care received, but the administration of this office is frustrating. We’re a military family and this is our third orthodontist office. I’ve never had so many issues with billing, appointment scheduling being miscommunicated, and just a generally condescending attitude from the office staff. If my son wasn’t already so far into his treatment I would switch to a different provider. We won’t be using this office for our youngest child.

Dr. Bagden and staff truly deserve a 5 Star rating. We are a military family and have seen 3 orthodontists in three states to compare. We moved to Springfield with one child in braces and he took on her case and not only did not over charge us for transfer but also made necessary adjustments the last orthodontist missed. Also Dr. Bagden encouraged us to have our 14 yr. old special needs son attempt braces. While we knew he needed them, we never felt confident with any of the previous orthodontists. Dr. Bagden and staff did an amazing job preparing our son for braces and we walked away with a smile the day all the appliances were initially placed on. The process ahead will take sometime but we are very encouraged! Also Dr. Bagden personally called the next day to check on our son! Who does that, a professional that cares about his patients.

I adore Dr. Bagden. I have three kids. The first had a fairly straightforward case — braces for 18 months, retainers thereafter. She has a great-​looking smile. #2 has autism and doesn’t like dental procedures. Dr. Bagden said his teeth could use braces but the trauma of treatment outweighed the benefit of treatment. This is a man who puts his patients’ needs first. We interviewed three other orthodontists before settling on him. He was the most patient-​focused doctor we met.
My youngest has a very complicated case due to a genetic syndrome and will require years of treatment. Dr. Bagden reviewed her case and was eager to take it on. He’s done a lot of research and was more than willing to conference with another orthodontist for a second opinion. He’s always kept us well-​informed of her progress and the path forward. When the time comes for more intensive treatment (jaw surgery and implants), he’s already planning on which doctors to refer her to, She’s in really good hands. I’m especially grateful that he teaches other dentists as well.

Wow, besides having wonderful bedside manner, Dr. Bagden worked wonders with my children who initially had gotten strange and counter productive work done by another orthodontist. Dr. Bagden did some really advanced stuff with my son’s jaw and his teeth were seriously crooked — but he looks super handsome now (even more than before:) You’ll notice when you see Dr. Bagden that he often teaches specialty semiars out of the country due to his expertise and understanding of the latest technologies in this field. Do not hesistate to go to this doctor… he’s amazing!

When you have major extractions you definitely want someone with experience, knowledge and a fantastic bedside manner — Dr. Bagden has it all. I will be coming back to him for sure! Highly recommended.
