Kayaks at TJ Maxx? Yes, but you’ll also find brand name clothing and cuddly teddy bears, along with kitchen and household goods. Lots of unique and fun gifts, and reasonably priced. Clean and organized. Rock on, TJ to the Maxx.

An associate named Lashay in this location seems to have an attitude problem. While leaving the dressing room with my young daughter, I left the items that I was not going to purchase on the desk, and«Lashay said«Can you put this… NEVERMIND». I said«Excuse me?» Even though I knew she expected me to return the purse to the purse area. She gave me defiant look and I asked again«What were you going to say?» She replied, again with a defiant look«I SAIDNEVERMIND«. She walked away, still looking at me with a bad attitude, completely defiant and confrontational. I asked two other associates who were around what her name was and both told me they didn’t know. They didn’t know their co-worker’s name? Finally a nice lady at the register told me her name and another one helped me with the spelling of her name. By the way, the two associates I had previously asked for the rude employee ‘s name, didn’t know who the manager was. I told the manager that I was going to report this. She apologized for the associate’s behavior but that was it. Very disappointed. Definitely not coming back.

This location is similar to the other stores but very clean and organized. They have many different items and very affordable prices. If you are lucky you can really get some great deals

Just call me a Maxxinista. This location is neat, well organized, full of goodies, and has a helpful and nice staff. I like the location because you can get all your shopping done in one day without going too far. The traffic can get a bit busy, but if you’re careful about when you go there shouldn’t be a problem. I think this location is just as good at the one in Rookwood and it’s more convenient for us folks on the Northern side. Definitely 100x better than the one in VOA shopping center.

This is my go-to TJ Maxx, mainly because I live so close to it. I love that it’s across the street from Lowe’s and next door to DSW, Tuesday Morning, Michael’s, and Panera. There’s a Bed Bath and Beyond there too, but I mean, who wants to waste money and shop there? Especially when you can get it all cheaper at TJ Maxx. I usually have good luck at this store, even though it is smaller than other TJ Maxxs. But that’s probably because I pop in here so frequently that I catch new stock all the time. So I’ve picked up Chloe parfum for cheap, Marc Jacobs Lola, and other fragrances. Mens selection of cologne leaves something to be desired. I’ve come across Fossil watches — those mother of pearl ones that are in right now(but may be out by the time you’re reading this review). Picked up suit cases too — nice Swiss Army carry on size for $ 50. Also their children selection of clothing is not that big though usually you can find something. The toy section is nicely stocked and I’ve found some real great toys, stuff that I’ve seen in upscale children’s boutiques, for a fraction of the price. Also, children’s board books for less, though not as much less as I would hope(I know books are hard to sell cheaper). Women’s clothing — meh. I really miss Ross back in LA where you could buy a SUIT(yes, women wear these, believe it or not, TJ Maxx!) and really cute maxi dresses. Here, I feel like the clothing is all, well, for lack of a better term, meh. And on several occasions, when looking particularly to buy Levi jeans(overseas trip… Levi’s make great presents), couldn’t find any really, whereas at Marshalls, my Levi cup runneth over… seriously, I bought like 13 pairs of Levis at Marshalls. So it can be hit or miss, particularly if you are looking for a specific item. Also, no men’s shoes. Don’t know if that’s a TJ Maxx thing or this store thing. So, like all TJ Maxx shopping experiences, it really is just up to the particular day that you happen to stop in. Staff always is friendly and helpful, at least, that’s what I’ve found.

I don’t love TJ Maxx. They have some really cool stuff from time to time, but this location is just not so great. My main gripe is with the employees. They kind of just taint the whole shopping experience. There were two employees organizing and setting up a clearence display when one lady dropped an item. The contents went everywhere and as I walked past, the other employee said«Just put it back up there». When I was in line(which was very long, but moving fast) there was one woman on a headset walkie talkie that was suffering from delusions of grandeur. I don’t know if she was a supervisor or a manager or what, but even so, there’s no reason a manager should talk to her employees the way she was talking to them on her walkie talkie. I think I’ll just go to one of the other locations next time.

This place is well organized and neat. The dressing rooms are beautiful and it had so much stuff! I swear, the suburbs/middle-of-nowhere places have the best selection b/c people don’t really buy from here. I found two sports bras(great selection) and saw a ton more boots/winter clothing that were super cute. I just didn’t buy b/c I didn’t really need it and I was on a business trip so I didn’t want to really deal with hauling a lot of stuff around.
