Grabbed a pizza at DLM and popped into this new local brewery. It’s in a strip mall. It was pretty nice inside. I like that the brew house was right there in the tap room. They have TV’s everywhere and even couches and chairs if you’re feeling like lounging. They only had one employee so I am hoping that was the reason she was a little grumpy. She acknowledged me and said she would be right with me but another customer came in and sat at the bar and she waited on him. She then told me I was supposed to step up to the bar to order. Who knew. Oh well, no big deal. She still needs to be friendlier. I ordered a sample of every beer they had on tap. Boro Blonde — this wasn’t bad. It’s just not my preference for a beer. It had decent flavor for a blonde. Batch 1 — No indication what this was but it was darker in color and malty. I also tasted a slight roasty flavor and maybe slight chocolate. No idea but it was decent. The Farm Saison — I am not even going to try to critique this one. It is definitely not my style. I ordered it anyway and tasted it but it was still pretty much full when I left. Matchstick Amber Ale — I think this would be a much better beer with a little more time. It seemed to be a good recipe it just seemed a little early to be serving it. Probie’s Peanut Butter Porter — WAYWAYWAY too much peanut butter!!! I love Porters. This was undrinkable in my opinion. I left it. Short Fuze IPA — I have gotten better about trying IPA’s. This was pretty typical if you ask me. i am not a huge fan of cascade hops so I didn’t drink much of this one either. I will typically order a sampler of all of a breweries beers and then order a pint or two of my favorites. I ended my visit after the sampler. I finished the Batch 1 and the Amber. I drank most of the blonde, almost none of the IPA, Farm, or the peanut butter mess. Since everyone has different taste I woudlnt let my review of the beers sway you. This place has a nice atmosphere, 6 beers to choose from, and you can order food from anywhere and bring it in. Give them a shot.

Outstanding beer, Peanut butter porter will blow your mind. Great atmosphere. Having food delivered takes the cons out of pub food so your picky wife can order whatever she wants while you get great craft beer. Plus they offer a military discount! Only brewery in Dayton to do that! Update, the organic coffee stout is one of the best beers I’ve ever had.

Really Great beer all around. The atmosphere was friendly and even though they just opened you can tell they know what they’re doing. You can order outside food, play games, watch sports, and drink local well made beer. Great place!

I stopped in on opening night and it was already crowded. Owners were there to greet everyone which says they care about their business. S taff are attentive and personable. They don’t serve food but have multiple menus from places nearby that will deliver.
