Twisted Yarns

Such a cute shop! I saw folks taking lessons or sitting and knitting while others like myself shopped. The selection of yarns is huge, and such great quality yarns too. (I do wish they had more Madelinetosh though). The owner and the ladies that work there are super friendly and helpful. They let you peruse the aisles at your leisure and whenever you needed help, they were ready to answer any questions. I happen to find exactly the yarns I needed for a random project I had in my ravelry favorites so I’m super excited about that! I walked out of there with a couple of bags of yarns that should last me quite some time!

The Closest specialty yarn store that is more my style. In some yarn stores, you feel a kind of vibe that the employees are judging you while you look at that yarn for 10 minutes straight. In there, its not like that, because the ladies who work there have been there, done that. Love it in here.

Everything a knitter/​crocheter could want, all snug in a cozy setting. This is an excellent yarn shop for all skill levels. The staff is so friendly and the shop is adorable. If you’re a knitter/​crocheter you have to stop by — and if you’re not this shop could easily turn you into one!
Expect a higher quality of yarn than you will find in craft stores like Michaels or Hobby Lobby — prices range from affordable to expensive depending on the fiber, but don’t be intimidated. They carry everything from acrylic blends and cottons to bamboo yarns, linens, luxurious silks and cashmere. There’s something for everyone. And expect to spend some time touching all the lovely yarn. You have been warned.
They also carry a good range of knitting needles, crochet hooks, accessories, patterns, books and buttons. Classes are offered and the staff is wonderfully friendly and helpful. I love this shop. It’s my candy store.

Super friendly (without acting like they want t be your next BFF) and well stocked. I like to shop here whenever I’m in town. They get my business over my lys in Austin.
Also, they’ve always been nice about my toddler daughter and don’t freak out if she happens to touch a ball of yarn (which I promptly take away from her — it’s not like I let her run wild).

Twisted Yarns is a great little yarn shop with a fantastic selection and reasonable prices. The staff is super friendly, and they have great sales. This place is totally worth the drive! Love you, Twisted Yarns!
