In the extended time my child was there a narrative report including a Functional Behavior Assessment(FBA) or Behavior Intervention Plan(BIP) was never given to me, even after repeated requests. No clear goals were documented, no progress update, just a bunch of disembodied statistics with colored squares of DTTs were handed to me. If you’re not privy to ABA lango, they provide you with pretty graphs that have little to no use when it comes down to tackling problem behavior. This company is «playing» ABA, which in my opinion is more harmful than not providing quality care. We wasted so much precious time. I cannot stress enough how important it is to do your research on this company. Parents educate yourselves.

This is my first review on anything. I felt it was EXTREMELY important to write our experience with the Shape of Behavior. In a short sentence, I will say… Please do not send your child to this place. They bill the insurance for 1:1, and the therapist will have multiple children. My child’s behavior got worse and he did not make any progress while he was at the Clay Rd. Location. I can see some of the therapist that would talk to with good intentions. However, the BCBA is rude and sees kids as another number/$$$. Please, please, please do not make the mistake I made… I lost valuable time with my child. God bless our children and may the lord put the right people in our paths to better the life of out little angels.

I had a very poor experience at the Sugar Land location. I will not be recommending this place to friends and family.

They claim to provide 1:1 but that is just half the day. My child’s behavior actually got worse since she started attending shape. Bcba has no time to even look at the programs. Policies are so strict that they are uncomfortable for parents. They charge an enormous amount to insurance and still never waive co pay. Management is extremely rude. Stay away!
