Spring Barber Shop

Really nice people! This is a genuine barbershop. I brought my 5 year old son in for a haircut, and they were great with him and he looked great! Great prices, but bring cash or check, they’re old school just like they should be.

I’ve literally lived all over the country, so I’ve always had a hard time trying to find a great place for my haircuts because I grew up with three aunt’s that cut hair. Well, we just moved into the area and, of course, have to find another place to cut our hair because I literally hate going to get my haircut and I am not driving more than 10 miles even if a certain person had cut my hair for the first five years I’ve lived in Houston.
So I decided that I was tired of the same old hair parlor or salon… whatever you want to call it. They are starting to charge you an arm & a leg for a regular haircut that I could probably do on myself if I had the patience. This time around I decided to go old school like my Grandfather used to do when it was his turn to take care of me and felt the need to show me what a REAL haircut was supposed to look like. haha!
I did a quick search for barber shops and called a bunch of places until I spoke to the owner of this place. Just by talking to him over the phone, I already knew this was going to be our regular place. He was a no nonsense kind of guy and gave me an answer that I needed and told me when they closed for the day. BOOM… done!
Of course we get there and there’s a long aisle of chairs made up of regular customers who look like they’ve been going there longer than I’ve been born.
My son and I sit next to a guy around my age and we get to talking… of course, he’s been going there since his SECOND haircut ever and now he brings his 5 year old son… YEAH, WE’VE GOT A WINNER!
My son and I are in and our within the hour and it’s the best haircut I’ve had since I left California where I had found another older barber who ONLY cut hair with blades & leather sheaths.
