Got there around 6:30pm on a Wednesday night, wasn’t very busy there were two other families there. The restaurant was very clean. The owner greeted us and took our order. We had ground beef empanadas and some sort of shredded beef sandwich on this awesome bread? Not sure what it was called but loved it. We grabbed some flan, which i loved, my buddy didn’t care for it so i ate his too(he doesn’t like sweets) I didn’t feel like I was in Spring Texas, felt like I was outside the US. Will definitely be back. I dont know what the other reviews were talking about, the owner was very gracious and kind, we enjoyed talking to him.

Las hamburguesas son muy ricas, a pesar del queso americano… Buenos precios! Tengo que regresar a probar más platos!

First off, I would like to put it out there that I didn’t come to the restaurant(yet). I only tried some of the food. I had it at the 2015 Venezuelan festival in Houston. Which by the way it was a great festival but that’s off topic! But I’ll probably go sometime soon and write another review. Anyway, I had the Carne Mechada Patacones, and they were just fantastic. For almost every Venezuelan dish there’s a place that makes it best in Houston, and Sazon Latino definitely makes the best Patacones in the city. The carne mechada(shredded meat) was flavored extremely well, just like they make it in Venezuela. Everything else I tried on the menu was good, but the Patacones were the most phenomenal. I have to cut my review short due to the fact that I haven’t been to the place. But I leave you the Patacones recommendation. Best in the city;

Not the friendliest place but great Venezuelan food. Was not disappointed can’t wait to try again. I over ate but it was worth the feeling.

Owner was not the most friendly per other reviews but the shredded beef tacos with green salsa were extremely good. Will absolutely go back! Food also came out quickly from the kitchen.

Just went today and was pleasantly surprised! Especially after reading the reviews. The empanada de jamon y queso was one of the best empanadas I have ever had(including my own) and I consider myself quite the empanada snob. The caldo de res was made with a lot of care and attention and well seasoned. The arepa de pollo was also delicious. My only complaint is I wish I had room to try the cachapa or the tequeños So the service may not have been out of this world friendly, but it was good and professional service. Plus we went for the food which came out to us fast, fresh, hot, delicious and well priced. To me that is worth 5 stars. I’ll definitely be back!

I’ve tríed 3 other Venezuelan restaurants in Houston and I have no doubt that this is the best one. I love their arepa«reina pepiada» and their Venezuelan burger.

Traditional Venezuelan food, great people, try the Arepa(is very good), is nice to have a place like this near this area.
