Anthony Bordin once said that houston had best vietnamese food after vietnam itself, well he was not wrong at all. Went their for lunch on a saturday i ordered rock n roll tofu and it was one of the best flavor’s my mouth has experienced in a while, it was made with garlic and soy sauce you couldn’t really point one ingredient it was delicious.

Around 8 years ago this place was 100% awesome. The PHO had a lot of meat and noddles. Now it’s mostly broth and even the amount of veggies(bean sprouts, etc) are getting smaller. The old staff was nice and always remembered what you ordered the time before. I still eat here because it’s the only good Phở place around. But the quality has been steadily declining.

The food looked ok, but all three of us had upset stomachs for the next 24 hours. We tried it twice because we love phở, but we won’t be going back.

We love vietnamese and thai food, so we have tired many places in Houston and Spring. This place is probably the best Vietnamese food in the Woodlands. Everything we have tried, from the fired rice to the sandwiches are good. The service was fast every time we were there.

This is my first time actually ordering from this place. However the price for this small amount of food is ridiculous!!! But for most part what I order taste good

I work steps away, and the food is ok, but sometimes service is a little«strange». They’ll let the phones ring and ring and ring. It’s a hit or miss here. But because it’s convenient and I love Asian foods, I keep ordering from here.

I grew up eating phở as it was a weekend staple in our home and nothing beats mom’s for sure however, I have never been let down by the staff at Phở Be. Granted the price isn’t cheap, but it’s not as expensive as I have seen either. I think the mid-range price is fair considering the size of the phở bowls. I like the phở thai and my daughter enjoys the phở gai(chicken). Each always comes with very flavorful broth. If it’s not flavorful enough I recommend adding a little bit of hoisen sauce or sricha which they have right on the table. It’s not fine dining, but it is good Vietnamese food. I can’t speak for the Chinese food found on the menu, but my policy is that if I want Chinese food I go to a Chinese restaurant. I come to Phở Be for the quality Vietnamese food and I am never disappointed.

I been to this location several times. The service has always been good am the prices a bit higher then you would expect for a phở place. But first few times I went the phở wasn’t good. It almost tasted a bit sweet. I went today and had a bunch of different dishes and their phở. It was good. I was surprised the phở tasted really good. I asked about the cook and there’s new management and cook. Thank god cause they turned this place around. I’ll definately be coming back.

Really overpriced for the quality and value. I ordered two Bahn mi and 1 order of chicken spring rolls and paid $ 20 for them. Last time I will be coming here. The irony in all this was that I just drove back from China town. Could’ve picked something up for half of the price. Oh well. The Woodlands and its overpricing.

Apps are a bit pricy, but Phở is reasonably priced. The staff was friendly and the food came out very quick. Service was definitely better than most places ive been to. Will be back.

Too expensive for one person with the quality & portion of the food they are serving. Got one dish of grill chicken over rice, a cup of broth, a cup of steamed rice & paid $ 15! Their food wasn’t even that tasteful. Always got these for less than $ 10 at other Vietnamese restaurants. Not recommended at all! I’d rather go to a Chinese buffet for a less expensive bill & same(or even better) food taste & quality.

This is the only place in the spring area that has a decent phở. However it is a hit or miss. Some days, they flavor is amazing, some day, it taste like water. Like my last trip. I like the egg rolls, it is yummy with the lettuce and fish sauce. I only eat phở tai gan and that’s it. My fiancé and son likes it here so we’re pretty much regulars. I’m viet myself so i’m much for picky than my partner.

Went there last night. Got the General Tso’s chicken with Rice, and the husband [Van] got the Cashew Chicken. Paid $ 40.00 dollars with 2 sodas, the plates were tiny. Mine was over loaded with shaved Carrot, Broccoli, and chunks of Bell Pepper with 4 – 5 tiny pieces of chicken. 2 of the pieces I chewed into were just solid chunks of fat which I couldn’t bring myself to eat. They make the plate look full by stuffing everything on it but the meat that you actually order. Van’s plate was also overloaded with cashews and onions, and few pieces of chicken. Not worth the price. When you walk in and look at the mediocre décor, you’re under the impression that you’re at a questionably cheaper restaurant [compared to the exterior]. But when you open the menu, they obvious want to charge at a more upscale rate. The presentation wasn’t so bad, but I promise, once you eat there, and pay your unusually disproportionate bill compared to the plate size; your stomach will begin to grumble 20 minutes later. It was so disappointing and needless to say it will be highly unlikely we will return. I would rather spend my money elsewhere in the woodlands where there are more high quality places where your dollar can yield a properly sized meal. Clean –yes Waitstaff –Friendly Taste — Nothing out of this world Pricing — Needs to be reconsidered by the owner

Mediocre is the nicest way I can define their phở. If you need a fix then come anyway but they’re slow, over priced and even though I can tell that they’ve tried to make the area classy, it’s smells and feels like a refurbished nail salon. Everything from the music to the décor to the food leaves me wanting.

OHBARNICLESYALL! seriously one of the best Vietnamese places I’ve ever eaten at. My favorite dish is their Vietnamese Chicken Fried Rice. Order this, squirt you some Sriracha sauce, have some coconut juice. Voila. Wait staff is super nice too. Zing.

By far the best Vietnamese in town. The spring rolls are great and the skewers are succulent! I adore most of their menu and the service above average for a Vietnamese place. The soups are well above average, unfortunately it’s not easily assessable because Sawdust is usually a nightmare and it’s some of the most expensive Vietnamese in town. The latter kept my review from five stars, but overall excellent food and nicer than average Vietnamese ambience

The quality of the food here is hit or miss. The first time I went there was probably 2008 and the food was bland. I didn’t go back for a long time then in November 2013 I stopped in to get some take out. I was desperate and they were the only place that was open. We got home and found that the food was fantastic. My most recent visit was in October 2013 and the food was pretty decent. We got the crispy tofu appetizer and it was wonderful. I had the Vietnamese pork chop for dinner and it was fantastic. It was served warm and was such a delightful presentation with a fried egg over the rice. Why three stars? I think they charge too much and the portions are small. I think they are worth a try. Somebody else might think the price is okay for what you get, but I know I can go to Veterans Memorial Drive and have my choice of places where the food is cheaper and a whole lot better.

A+ for their happy hour small plates offering, seems like a good deal. $ 6 A+ for their pepper chicken wing, delish C– portions for their stir fry dishes, very small, not what I’m use to when dining at other similar restaurants. Service was good, place was pretty quiet, have yet to try their phở again. I’m kind of afraid to try it since the last time it wasn’t so great. Although others have told me their broth has improved. It was the closest Vietnamese/Asian restaurant to where I was at and my son requested chicken and broccoli stir fry for dinner so we decided to come here. Not my fav. in the area but it was fine for the evening.

I’ve never tried Vietnamese food or Phở, so my review may be a little biased referring to taste. I was craving some type of Asian food(which is rare), so I thought I’d give it a try. I will say their customer service is AMAZING. Quang, the guy working the front, was so kind to me. He greeted me, and explained so many dishes to me. As a vegetarian who doesn’t ever eat any Asian food, I had a lot of questions. I ended up picking the Vegetarian stir fry, which he recommended. I was also a little nervous about the soy sauce they use, but it turned out to be very delicious. I do think it was a little pricey, but you do get a lot of food. I would say their portion sizes are more for two. It was decent food, great service, and I ordered to-go, which was done in about 5 minutes. Some of the reviews for this restaurant seem a little exaggerated about service and what not, but I though they do awesome! Definitely satisfies a quick craving for Asian food.

Came to Phở Be, once before. At that time, I came to try the phở. Not bad. This time, I wanted to try something outside the noodle box. Ordered the salmon fish and was surprisingly good, but a tad but too sweet. The flavors were brightened by the fresh slices of ginger and scallion bits. Before, I had the fried tofu, which were good, but not out-of-the-world good. Some things that stand out is that it was dark! Plus, the price was way too high for the quality that was being served(thus, one star off. Another star off for dark setting). I’m not expecting Rolls-Royce service, but I think things could have been presented better. If I was hankering for Vietnamese food, there are other places to consider. But, I would reluctantly come back, unless they adjust their prices.
