Dr. Lincoln takes his patients very seriously. He’s been in private practice for quite some time and knows orthodontics like the back of his hand. Nothing slips past him. I was a thumb sucker for 16 years when I came to him and well, he kicked that habit out of me real quick. He first put spacers in my teeth for a few weeks before putting in a «cage» which is basically six metal spikes in the roof of my mouth. I couldn’t speak correctly and had to bring a note to class on the first day of junior year in high school. But, it worked and the habit was broken. Dr. Lincoln then sent me to a speech therapist where I had to learn how not to put pressure on the back of my teeth. Finally, he put the braces on. After my approved insurance ran out after 30 months or something, I started having to pay out of pocket. I started at I want to say $ 100 a visit and he dropped it to $ 80 after another year. Though, sometimes if you bring him homemade treats he’ll give you a price break too :) At the finish line, I had to pay $ 200 for a retainer that looked like invisalign. After a year, I have worn holes in it though from grinding my teeth(which I didn’t know I did) so I’ll probably have to go back and get a replacement soon. From start to finish, I spent 4 years straightening my teeth. The office is clean. It is somewhat small, but he doesn’t need a lot of room. Two examination rooms, game room, consultation room and a bathroom comprise the office. He also started training people as I was finishing up treatment, so I’m sure he isn’t the sole orthodontist there anymore.
