Macori provides insurance specifically for students and they are absolutely TERRIBLEANDUNETHICAL. STAYAWAYFROMTHISCOMPANYUNLESSYOUHAVEABSOLUTELYNOOTHERCHOICE. I suppose being insured by a crappy insurance co. is better than no coverage at all… though I’m starting to rethink that. The customer service is terrible. The lady that usually answers the phone(Sally) is snarky and always speaks to you in a condescending manner. I suppose they’re trying to discourage people from calling in to complain. In addition, they take FOREVER to complete your claims and will do anything to drag it out. For instance, any faxed documents will be «lost» and any received documents will always be «in the process of getting analyzed.» You will have to take the time to call them constantly to badger and push… because they do not care. They absolutely take advantage of poor students who can’t afford expensive independent insurance coverage. For shame.
