This place is great. Always fast and helpful. Insurance pays and if not they try to find the lowest cost generic. I have been going here for 5 years.

We’ve been using this compounding pharmacy for about 4 months now, and we’ve just done so for the last time after their third major error. We’ve had incorrect dosages(problematic for cancer meds), two instances of failure to have a prescription ready at the appointed time(both more than 24 hours), loss of records, and incorrect records. They’re unorganized and unwilling to rectify their mistakes. The response to this evening’s mess(we went in to pick up a prescription they said yesterday they’d have today, and now they can’t find the pills, original order(this was a refill), or any record of the pet for whom the drugs were prescribed), was a shrug and, «I don’t know what to do. Come back tomorrow.» No, thanks.

I have used LifeChek since they opened on Rayford road. The pharmacist has always been very nice and accommodating. However, after going through Chemotherapy, Radiation and losing all my hair, eyebrows and eyelashes I was prescribed Latisse to help with eyelash growth. The Dr’s assistant specifically mentioned LifeChek to have the prescription filled, as other patients had told her that is where they go to get it filled and they seem to have the best price. Insurance will not cover this medication as its considered cosmetic use. I did have mine filled at this location and have 3 refills left. When I dropped off the prescription the pharmacy tech told me how lucky I was to get this because they do not often have it in stock. She suggested upon renewal to call ahead and they would make sure it was in stock for my next refill. I called and spoke with a pharmacy tech to order my refill and was told they would have to submit an order and it would take anywhere from 4 to 10 days to receive. She also stated sometimes they get orders in 4 days and if that happen she would call me when it arrived. The following week after ordering and not hearing back from the pharmacy tech. I waited an additional week before calling to make sure it was in before I drove the 12 miles, through construction traffic nightmare just to pick up my prescription. When I called to inquire on my prescription renewal, I was told it had not come in, and was not ordered! No explanation, no additional advice other then try another pharmacy. I tried transferring through Walgreens online however it didn’t go through. I started getting frustrated as now it has been almost a month and without my medication which is very much needed. I called back and spoke with another pharmacy tech to request more information as to why my renewal prescription wasn’t processed and no one called me back like I was told. The tech stated there was a back order and I needed to transfer my prescription. They are not carrying the product any longer! My frustration is that I was initially told I would receive a call back with a few days to a week if the product came in early, never was I told it may not be possible to order! So, a call back before almost a month of waiting would have been good customer service. This is the first and only incident I have encountered with LifeChek. I have always found them helpful and courteous. I feel they may be overwhelmed or growing to fast to insure good customer care. I’m disappointed… and probably won’t return.
