Gateway Baptist Church

My son has attended Gateway to Learning, the daycare at Gateway Baptist church, for about 7 months and our experience started wonderful. Unfortunately, we quickly learned majority of the teachers and leaders within the organization are just poor. During our seven months, I have had to sign near 10 incident reports with my son being injured. The final straw that broke the camels back was a specific teacher, Winter, telling my child she hoped he «tripped, fell and busted his face open». When bringing this to administrations attention, they didn’t seem too concerned. It’s very sad that this facility allows behavior like this. Some teachers are phenomenal but unfortunately majority of their staff hates their job. I was truly hopeful that the care my child would receive here would be holy and genuine. If you are looking for a good daycare to take your child to, GTL would not be one I would recommend. The administration will say all the «right» things but their actions unfortunately don’t follow through.
