Best service I’ve ever received! Don’t have to dread sitting around for 30 minutes getting an oil change. Very nice crew.

Had my oil changed there for several years no problems they were great, dealing with the owner was awesome. Had a problem with my vehicle and took it there to get fixed. First, they quoted me a price on the part that was $ 160 and when I looked up that exact part by manufacturer and part number was only $ 40. And they said it was 2 hours of labor at $ 95 an hour. Check out my honest mechanic online and that price is way too much for a place like this — the guys who would be working on my car couldn’t even answer simple questions — they are not certified mechanics. The owner was awesome, Mr. Hernandez, you are a crook. I won’t be back. If you are on a budget you need to try somewhere else and if you do want a certified mechanic find one and then accept that pricing but I think charging a customer 4X what a part costs is criminal.

I was a bit disappointed in my experience.
I went in with an air-​conditioning problem. Joe said that they could fix it because they were a full-​service shop in the past. He mentioned some issues that could cause the problem (all pretty expensive to fix) — but — I told him that I had gone to another reputable dealer and that those issues could have been ruled out.
Part of the diagnostics required that freon (with a dye) be placed into the car. So — where ever there was a leak, one should be able to see the dye. Sounded like a good approach.
The problem I had was that the air-​conditioner was fully recharged (with new freon) on Tuesday. He said that he did not see any kind of leak (even though I had been there over an hour). He charged me $ 89 and told me to come back «no later than Friday». By Thursday, the air-​conditioner was hot — once again.
I was surprised of that because for the air-​conditioner to run «hot» after only 3 days, the leak would have to have been the size of Mac Truck — but yet — Joe said that he never saw anything. If the air-​conditioner was leaking that badly, then why fully recharge and put freon in it in the first place? I brought this up to Joe and asked for a refund. He said «there are no refunds» with that kind of work.
I guess they are good at changing the oil but I would have to think twice about using them for anything else other than that.

The manager (Joe) has always been honest and professional. (Joe that STAR IS FOR YOU!) Because of our experience with Joe is why we had continued to be repeat customers.
‘But Consumers Beware’…for if anything goes wrong and you have to deal with the OWNER of this franchise, don’t expect to be impressed OR even dealt with FAIRLY or professionally.
On our last oil change a technician neglected to change out the o-​ring and did not correctly tighten the plug on the drain pan. This resulted in loss of all oil from our vehicle and overheating/​damage of the engine. We have statements from (1) an independent certified mechanic as well as (2) our insurance adjuster provided picture and a written statement as to the cause of the damage. We can completely validate the root cause of the $ 5,000 damage yet…
We have attempted to contact the owner of this location to reconcile the damages to our engine on SEVERAL occasions. He REFUSES to follow-​up in a professional manner. We have forwarded SEVERAL EMAILS and left several voice messages. He DOES NOT respond to our emails/​calls. He has also REFUSED to have his liability INSURER follow-​up with us in regards to the needed repairs. This experience brings a definitive meaning to ‘use at your own risk’.
The owner of this location is a professional at ONLY being UNprofessional.
We did learn that Texas through the Deceptive Trade Practices-​Consumer Protection Act offers some advice to consumers on finding a good mechanic. Shops that are willing to hold themselves to a higher standard of care adhere to the Motorist Assurance Program.
There are several oil change/​auto repair shops in the area who voluntarily participate in that program. Express Oil Change is not one of them.

The service here is excellent! The service is very fast and efficient. All of the technicians are very nice and know what they are doing. The owner and general manager are great! They can do anything you ask and face cheaper prices!

Greeter is polite and professional. But WTF!!! A week later I realize that the technician who changed my oil did not completely screw in all the screws to the carriage under cover! I had to go buy about 8 replacement screws. Will never come back to this place.

This place is real good. Awesome customer care. Strongly suggest oil change or brake job from these guys.

This is by far the best place to come and get car service. I can’t begin to express how happy I am with the speed and professionalism of this place. Took my car to get oil change and get inspection. Had a small problem with inspection and the owner (Stegg) help me out in every way he could. I left a very happy customer. Thank you guys again for everything.

They made it right! Got oil changed, but cap was not tightened all the way. Called the center, and technician stayed after closing to make it right, even gave me a can of driveway cleaner to clean the small amount of oil that leaked on my driveway!

Reasonably priced. Best service I have ever received at an oil change place. It was like being part of some military drill or something. Not one but like 6 guys went to work in my truck as soon as I pulled up. Yelling back and forth to each other what’s been checked what’s been done, all the while another guy spoke to me about the possible things that will need to be done to my truck at its mileage and age, in the near future. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes and never had to exit my truck. They even changed my air filter that I wasn’t aware was so dirty. I HIGHLY recommend this place.

I received the best service here! I initially received a quote from my dealership but I was suspect about the high $$$ amount. I went to Express Oil Change for a 2^nd opinion based on a recommendation. Not only did they save me $ 2000 in unnecessary repairs but the mechanic gave me an affordable maintenance schedule to follow. Great owner, service, and comfortable waiting area!
