AVOID! AVOID! AVOID! We are locals, have lived here for many years and were happy to learn that we have a new local spot for Football Sunday afternoons. My Son was very excited to try their potato skins (They are after all an IRISH/​Mexican restaurant). We arrived at 1pm, 2 hours after they open, and were told by the OWNER that the potato skins would not be available to late in the afternoon and that she couldn’t make EVERYTHING on her her menu EVERY day. I was dumb founded. There were several other things not available and the restaurant was nearly empty the entire time we were there, yet service was EXTREMELY slow and very UNDERWHELMING. Needless to say we will NEVER go back.

They have really good tacos but the service is SO bad! It takes forever to get food and I literally sat there for 10 mins and was never served. I ended up leaving and going to somewhere else smh.

Went to this wonderful establishment tonight and I must say there food is pretty good. The service was really fast and didn’t have to wait 45 minutes for my meal to come. The waitress was very friendly, we had a groupon so we ended up ordering the Irish nachos, chicken wings, and two burritos. The food was spectacular, will definitely come back here again.

I had a horrible experience on may 5^th. I went in with my boyfriend it was pretty empty, there was only one other person in the dinning area and 5 – 6 people at the bar. We ordered 2 tacos each and we had been waiting 30mins for our food. I asked the guy if our food would be ready soon. And the owner said she would know when my food will be ready and then she would bring it out. I asked agian how long would that take and she said when the light goes off, which means nothing to me. Another 15 minutes go by and we finally get our food «fresh out the kitchen» I picked up my taco and it was cold! Not only that they messed up my boyfriends order who only asked for lettuce and steak. I asked her to reheat my food and she told me the reason my food was cold was because of the cold sauce! I felt completely insulted. They only redeeming thing about that place where the margaritas and the bartender. I would be giving this place 0 stars if i could, I regret paying for that meal and I obviously will not be going back there again.

I have read all the reviews in the history and I have to say as a food critic that you need to ignore most of them. If they didn’t like the menu due to the diversity they need to go back to Tullys for their chicken finger and fries because his place is delicious and unique. If you did t line the food… again back to chillis you should go. This place offers very fresh ingredients and unique mixes and matches of Irish/​Mexican/​Cuban accents successfully and it’s refreshing to try something new. The service was excellent and I paid for three people with a total bill of $ 25.40. I will absolutely be back.

Meh. 2.5 stars. Interesting menu and my Ireland inspired burrito was huge, cheap, and pretty yummy. But most food was average, and the service was blah. One server for the whole dining room. They clearly couldn’t get the order right of the couple next to us. Took us a while to get drink refill. Use your groupon for a cheap meal, but otherwise don’t bother (and order the Irish burrito with bangers and mash!)

I really can’t recommend that you come here. It’s a nice idea, nice concept. The atmosphere is cool, the music is mostly American and the place feels like a pub. There are no Mexicans working in the «front of house» here and no real mexican décor. That’s not bad, but u might want to know what you’re getting before u get here.
The people in my party say that the ckn tortilla soup sucked, the guacamole was ok, one out of 4 of us liked the steak nachos, my kid’s wings came out of the kitchen like black, burnt, and it’s funny cuz the waitress kept telling us to be patient, that they’d be out in 2 min. I asked for mild wings, and they were at least medium. My wife asked for soft tacos and got hard-​shell.
If you like tv and beer, and nice people, this place might be for you, as there are at least 9 screens all around the place.
The surprising thing is that the owner was walking around here helping out. When the owner is around, a place is usually at its best. I won’t be back, but i do wish them luck and hope they can shape up. They’re decent folks.

Just ordered food from there to be picked up. I specifically asked for no avocado as I have a food allergy. The woman said no problem. She told me it would take 25 minutes. An hour later the food is ready. I open my pescador burrito and there is for sure guacamole. I call and tell the women that there is avocado in my burrito. She tells me that the pescador burrito is the only burrito that does not have avocado in it and that I’m actually looking at tartar sauce. It’s green because of the pickles she said. I skeptically said okay and then checked the menu online. Sure enough, one of the pescador burritos key ingredients: guacamole. I gave this place 2 stars bc we have eaten here in the past and it’s not terrible & they did offer to replace it.

This place sucks. Food sucks, and I had the seat next to the drunken loud can’t pay to get laid drunk chic

I don’t enjoy slamming establishments but this was a pretty lousy experience, and I would like to spare people the mistake of experimenting with this place.
I was starving, so figured I’d get a burrito and run real quick, right? Wrong. Even though the dining room was nearly empty and there were only a few customers at the bar my burrito took 40 minutes — repeat, 40 minutes — to get to me.
I didn’t need to taste it to discover they screwed up the order — the burrito dumped open all over me when I took a bite. I cleaned it up the best I could and waited for my server to ask how my meal was. Didn’t happen. A regular just sat down, and she was too busy flirting with him.
When I asked for my check it was delivered without a word. I guess they didn’t want to know or cared if they serve good food or not.
The back of the house sucks, they’re slow, they can’t deliver a timely burrito on a dead night. The front of the house is just lousy service, they suck too. They even had Yuengling on tap as salt in the wound.
Zero stars if I could, unfortunately.
Avoid this place at all costs. There’s a fast food Burger King joint right around the corner, for the money and the time and the quality and the taste, go there.

This place has made my top 10 of WORST restaurant experiences ever!!! To give some background of why, here goes:
We wait about 20 minutes to seat four of us when all they had to do was put two tables together. I understand the hostess saying they only have two tables for two left but if no one sits in them from the time we arrived to the time we finally sat down, then why is there a wait!
We finally sit down and it takes the waitress another 20 minutes to come over to us to let us know she apologies and that she is the only waitress and two tables she sat before us still need to have there drink orders taken. At this point I would have gotten up and left but since two people in the group had a groupon that she took from us, we waited.
Finally we get to order after waiting another 15 minutes. We order two sodas and two beers and order our appetizer and main course hoping it will save some time. Another 20 minutes go by and we ha e to ask the waitress for our drinks. She apologizes again and at first we are understanding since she is the only one. I actually feel bed for her because the owner of the bar is not even helping her. We finally get our drinks two minutes later and she only brings the sodas. We wait another 10 minutes and she brings us our beers. Another 20 minutes go by and we notice the people at the bar are being served before the people sitting down. We stopped the waitress who looked like a chicken without its head while working and said where is the appetizer? This was her response:
«I’m sorry but the girl who normally works Friday is not in. I usually work mon and tues so I’m not used to this many people. Also everyone has a freaking groupon so I’m trying to figure out what to do. Normally I wait on a lot less people then this. I’m trying to keep it together but tonight it’s hard.» We say ok but please bring out the food as we have waited almost an hour now for food and we are still missing water and utensils. As we look around the room the «business» is only SIX tables and they are not large groups. If you are a waitress and you can’t handle that, I’m sorry but it’s time to look for work else where.
To quickly finish this up, I’ll summarize the rest of the horrible dinning experience. We received the wrong beer. We received the wrong nachos appetizer. The burrito we ordered was missing the cheese and salsa on to of it. The tacos were missing sour cream and salsa. They ran out of beef.
To finish it all off, the waitress hands us the bill and explains the groupon price is at the register and just billed us for what was not included in the groupon because she could f print the whole receipt out. What! Not only does that not make sense but she screwed herself out of a correct tip which should be off the real original price. Wow!
So we paid our bill, gave the waitress the 20% tip off the bill she gave us since she screwed herself and walked out to never come back to this place again.

What a pleasant surprise to stumble across this Irish-​Mexican pub and its beer selection at the end of a long day, and at the beginning of a long drive back home. Delicious tacos and superb chile verde were so good they demanded a second serving. Great prices too.

Gross!!! dirty and definitely MICROWAVE. I spend 4 – 6 months out of the year in Mexico and this aintf it! Their worst in Mexico is better
Nachos were burnt, no real dinner entrees. ordered steak taco that was actually the ground beef filling they use for sheppard pie! yes I pulled carrots out of the ground beef and i would guess the sheppards pie sucks too. Loud music empty dining room and surrounded by freaking flat screen sports — ugh. The service was slow all around this was beyond disappointing will definitely NOT return it was embarassing to both Mexican and Irish cuisine how sad and indifferent

Came on a Saturday afternoon and was basically empty (snow may have helped that situation, it shouldn’t though).
Off to the side on the spring valley strip, the size of the place is decent with several TVs so that anyone can see something. The server was extra nice and let me pick whatever I wanted to watch on the TV in front of me.
Order the Irish nachos, they’re excellent. Potato chips instead of Nachos, extra salty kick if you’re into that sort of thing. Never can go wrong with bacon. Good beer selection, and the burrito wasn’t bad either.
Really have no complaints, but I can see how this place can get busy fast, so come early.

The food is great, as long as you don’t mind waiting since everything is cooked fresh. The owner buys everything fresh that morning so sometimes certain menu items might not be available if the ingredients weren’t good to buy or they ran out of it. The alcohol is great and they have a huge selection of beers. Make no mistake-​this is a bar that has a dining room and serves food, but a bar first and foremost. If you’re looking for a gourmet restaurant, look elsewhere. If you’re looking for good food and drinks at a good price, or to watch the game and have a beer, this is the place to go.
