Gateway Inn

This is definitely not the Hilton, but not a Super8 or pay by the hour. We got a great rate because of my dad’s military discount, like $ 75 for a 2 bdrm queen suite. Had an extra room with couch and nice flat screen tv, a kitchenette area and a decent size bathroom for a small-​non-​corporate hotel.
They served a complimentary continental buffet that was actually really good. They had more than the normal selection of danishes and bagels, which included oatmeal, grits, muffins, donuts, and some other stuff I can’t really remember.
Again, this hotel isn’t the Hilton, and I knew that going in. But it is pretty decent for an inexpensive-​off-​the-​army-​base hotel.
Thought that some of the cleaning staff was not so polite though. But the front desk people were super nice.
