Beware, if u are not an esthetician or cosmetologist the certificate means nothing. They are also operating illegally in ny state. Also a rip off, other local schools offer legal more professional classes. Even if u are licensed u can find better laser classes elsewhere in surrounding towns.

Best decision of my life! Being a recent grad of ILM I’ve been able to make a successful complete career change, the results have been so rewarding for me! Thanks so much to Lugene, Carol and Jillian for providing me with the proper education, confidence, and encouragement along the way!

I have been working within the medical aesthetic field of lasers for the past 5 years and have experienced a number of different laser and cosmetic schools from across the country. ILM offers students a comprehensive course spanning online and in-​classroom training by certified laser technicians who, on average, have more than 10 years experience within medical and aesthetic institutions. What separates ILM from the rest of the schools is their week long hands-​on training, which allows students to experience using lasers. I have not seen this at many other schools and, if it is offered, it is not to the extent of 5+ classroom days in order to make the students feel comfortable with all treatments. I highly recommend this school to anyone entering the field of aesthetic lasers.

I attended ILM for the comprehensive laser and tattoo course. Class started at 9:00 and I had a laser in my hand by 10:00. Carol and Jill are very knowledgable instructors and I left there amazed at how much I learned in 6 days. (2 extra days for the tattoo course) Carol forwarded my resume to LaseDerm Skincare in Broomall, PA where I am currently employed. Im using ALL the skills I learned at ILM, my favorite being tattoo removal.
I highly recommend this school. Staff is friendly and it’s a relaxed learning experience.

took their tattoo removal course in Tarrytown NY and loved it! Knowledgeable staff and teachers is an understatement! The online presentations were easy to understand and very thorough. The clinical training was well monitored and my instructors Jill and Carol made me feel so comfortable! All around a fantastic experience and I hope to continue my education with ILM!!!

I attended the classes for laser hair removal and tattoo removal in Springhouse, PA. I cannot say enough wonderful things about these people. Everyone has been so great to me. The instructors were very knowledgeable. They made sure you have a thorough understanding of the procedures, and also made sure you were comfortable practicing on clients. They even let me come back for a refresher during their clinics just to practice. They have set the bar pretty high for me. I am hoping I can find a Med Spa as great as theirs to work for in the future.

If it were possible to give –5 stars I would. I am left with possibly irreversible huge, thick, scars on my neck and arms. I am married to a tattooer in the NY area and know how to care for the healing process and followed their aftercare to a T until I obtained a pretty nasty infection on my arm and it looked as though my skin was rotting off. I had to go to urgent care and receive both oral and topical antibiotics. Three months in and multiple dermatology appointments later, I have been told that I now have permanent scarification not removal. I have received cortisone injections as well as topical cortisone creams to help reduce the scarring they left in their wake. According to another laser consult they won’t go near what this awful school left on me for fear of causing even more damage. Nor can it be tattooed over to attempt to cover these epic scars.
