Neversink Inn

This is a small-​town bar, with room for maybe 40 or 50 customers (inside), so don’t expect too much. But the place is very clean, the food was excellent, inexpensive prices, with attentive service. Well worth the trip.

Now called The Grove, everything we have tried on the menu has been good. Darlene the bartender is one of the best ever. She knows your drink and your name in no time flat. That means a lot to me. Most places it’s easy to feel invisible. So what more can you ask for. Good food. Great service. Give it a try.

This place has now changed hands and is The Grove. If anything the food is even better and there are more options! Still five stars!

Amazing atmosphere, they make you feel right at home! Oh and the food… amazing!!! Definitely get the fries you won’t regret it!

Was looking for a place to watch the playoffs, this was the closest and am definitely glad to have stopped in. It doesn’t look like much from the outside — it is bigger than it seems from the outside but is still pretty small. There is a large outdoor patio on the side where they have live music. The menu is standard bar fare — good portions, no nonsense food. Drinks are reasonably priced. Service is friendly but can be a little slow if the place is busy. It’s a great place to watch any sporting event — energetic and friendly.

This bar is great! The food is excellent and so is the staff. They have music Thursday evening and Saturday afternoon and the quality of the musicians is outstanding. What’s not to like?

Great neighborhood corner bar! Nice beer selection, extensive renovation looks amazing, friendly hardworking staff. Fun place to watch a game and meet up with other locals.

Great burgers inside and out. They say we need to come back for the Saturday night live music. or the Friday night fishfry.

My husband and I had lunch at the Neversink today — our first visit after reading the great reviews on Unilocal.We were not disappointed. First, Darlene (bartender) was fantastic — personable, helpful and fun. Second, Tom, the chef, makes what may possibly be the best burger we’ve ever had. (Seriously, we were thrilled by a *burger*.) The accompanying fries were also quite good. A guy sitting next to us had the soup of the day — steak and potato — which he said was fantastic.
We’re sorry we have to go back to Chicago before the Super Bowl; they’re going to serve complimentary nachos during the game.
We can’t wait to come back on a Friday for the fish fry.
Oh yes… and beer drinkers will appreciate the variety of choices offered there.

This was my first time visiting this establishment. When I first walked in, it was a full house. That’s a good sign. The place was roomy and clean. They have a beautiful bar lineup with all their liquors. Our waitress who was also the bartender was very friendly and helpful. She must have been superwoman being able to do all that work. She never neglected us and always checked on us even while maintaining her bar customers. The burgers we ordered were personally delivered by the chef. They were ABSOLUTELY DELCIOUS! I am not the biggest fan of burgers but my god this burger was home made, had flavor and was juicy. The burger was accompanied by home made fries that had the perfect seasoning as well. I will definitely be returning and I am telling all my hometown friends about this bar. Keep up the great work!!!

The staff as well as food is awesome. We’ve had the burgers, wings, and the jambalaya which were very very good highly recommended. The bar is kind of loud due to the acoustics. Highly recommended and good luck Brian keep up the good work.

The food is delicious. Excellent burgers and wings. Very friendly atmosphere with nice décor. It’s a great place to have lunch or dinner. Also a great place to watch a game and have some beers. Seems all walks of life are welcomed and appears everyone enjoys their experience. Defiantly check it out.

Awesome atmosphere! The owners are always around and bend over backwards for their customers. Great food too! Try the homemade chips!

This place is a great little neighborhood bar. It’s kind of in the middle of nowhere, but they have great drink specials. I was surprised they actually have really good food. On friday’s they have excellent fish fry. Great handmade burgers, great atmosphere. I enjoy coming here.
