This is a workout you and your body won’t forget. I’ve been doing The Bar Method for 2 years now and my thighs, abs, arms, and butt are thanking me. This workout is a combination of inspired ballet moves with a lot of Pilates and yoga-esq stretching thrown in to make it harder than it looks. What truly sets this place apart from any other gym or workout is the people that teach and run it. They are not only concerned with each and every participant’s workout, but they know everyone’s name and many are aware of their lives too. The loveliness of the people here is a huge factor in why I keep going. When you combine that with a gorgeous studio and what this does for your inner thighs, how can you not try it?!

I recently started working out at The Bar Method, and it is awesome. It is such a friendly environment and I love all the instructors! Such a great workout!

My experience at BAR has been very positive from the beginning. I started in January 2014 and it’s the middle of June and loving every time I go. Yes, there are some moves I don’t love, but celebrate when it’s over. Yes there are some moves I am not doing correctly but keep trying to get it down. The instructors make it personalized and are always available for any one on one questions or concerns. I highly recommend the studio! Try it & you will be hooked

I recently tried a series of workouts here and although in general it seems like a decent group of exercises it was WAY too expensive for what you get. It also felt like there was some sort of «IN» crowd here and if you weren’t a white Lululemon-clad female you would definitely feel out of place. What’s with calling you out by name when you don’t do the move correctly? Afterward, go for a jog because you won’t break a sweat here with all the stretching. Staff and instructor seemed too busy socializing than real fitness.
