Straight would definitely recommend to anyone. The bins roll is my favorite but the Harley Davidson and rainbow rolls are among my favorite rolls. The service is good and the ambience is peaceful and you can carry a conversation easily. 5stars from me

Was visiting Spokane and wanted sushi. This place was recommended and wow, it didn’t disappoint! Ordered the Stevens roll and it was soo good! Also got the boat for two, it is almost comical how big it is. Loved it so much we went back the next night!

From the outside, this restaurant looks like a dump but inside looks good. This is owned by Koreans and usually they make great sushi. I ordered a bento dinner and it was delicious. My husband ordered a sushi plate which he liked. However, he was disappointed with the way his last plate was served. He enjoyed the Hamachi so much that he ordered an extra plate of it. When it was brought to him, there were no ginger on the side. I know they are trying to save money but why skimp on pickled ginger? Food: great Waiter Service: great Sushi service: needs work

This is by far one of my favorite sushi place to go. It is actually the only sushi place we go to in Spokane. We have already came here a bunch of times already. We always come on my birthday or my girlfriend’s birthday too. My girlfriend really loves this place too!!! The staff are always sooooo nice. I appreciate that. Had a rainbow roll, caterpillar roll and my favorite the salmon skin roll.

I am extremely dissatisfied with my trip, and I don’t believe I’m ever coming back again. The first time I visited I got food poisoning from one of their sushi rolls, and this second time I had the rudest server ever. She treated our table so rude and didn’t have a tone of respect for us. I’m not sure if it was because we were younger or what, but she treated us like we were an absolute bother. The most frustrating thing is that I chose to take my friends kids here since we are going to see a movie, and we wanted to have them try a new restaurant because we were not near our usual sushi spot. It’s safe to say with those combine two horrid experiences, I will never return here, and I will tell everyone who inquired about them to AVOIDATALLCOST! You can thank the server Hana for that. ***now that I’ve received all of my food I’m even more dissatisfied– the dinner we initially ordered was fine, so we decided to order two more rolls to share at the table — both were warm, when they were not supposed to be. Total regret for having a shred of hope in this place***

I had been craving sushi for months — moving around a lot means you don’t get to find and stick with a great sushi place! I was excited to visit , a place we’d seen several times(and after a good experience at a in Ohio — probably not related!) We went in on a Sunday. It was fairly quiet, and we were seated pretty quickly. We sat by the window. It was very bright that day, so the waitress adjusted the shades for us. We ordered 5 rolls — the Giant, the I Love roll, the Alaska, the Philly, and the California. The first roll we tried was the Alaska. It was said to be a roll with barbecue salmon skin on it. We’ve both had Alaska rolls many different places with several different variations. This one was… strange. And fairly inedible. The skin was the consistency of a potato chip. It also tasted quite fishy. We didn’t eat the rest of that one. Otherwise, I thought the rolls were very good. I liked every other one a lot. My boyfriend was a bit more thrown off by the first roll than I was, but I’ll admit it did color our otherwise great meal quite a bit. When your first bite isn’t good, it’s hard to forget about it! I’d say this was between 3 and 4 stars. We might try it again, but I have a feeling that the Alaska will be most of what we remember, unfortunately. Here’s hoping we find a great sushi place soon!

Sushi com is the better sushi in town. We love the crunch roll & the San Jose roll and our kids love the kids teriyaki chicken. Really good people working there! Great service!

Every single time I am here I think, «Yep, this is definitely the best sushi in town.» The ingredients taste fresh(definitely important for sushi!) and the staff is always so welcoming. Sitting at the sushi bar and watching their chefs make the sushi is incredibly impressive. Plus, free entertainment. I’ve tried so many of their sushi rolls and if you want the large list narrowed down to two options, order the San Jose and the Red Dragon. The San Jose is a fried roll that is very rich and delicious, and then Dragon cuts the richness of the San Jose by being a fresher and lighter taste. Paired together, they balance each other out perfectly. Their miso soup is also very good here. I know, you’re thinking, «Miso soup? How can it be special? There’s not much too it,» but I’ve had some pretty bland miso soups and this one is perfectly salty. I will warn you that the prices of the rolls are a little spendier than other sushi places in town(about $ 15 for the better rolls) but so worth it!

I give this place 5 stars! I’m from out of town and was searching for somewhere great to eat and I am just so happy! Everything was fresh and so flavorful. I sat at the bar and had some chit chat with the sushi chef. He ended up making me a super yummy salmon appetizer to try. I wish this place was in my city!

This place delivered. It was about an 8 minute walk from my work but, it was a beautiful, sunny day so why not. I invited my co-worker to lunch and she has the bento combo box with spicy chicken & Teriyaki chicken. I ordered the bento combo lunch with salmon teriyaki & tempura. I ordered the appetizer; Hawaiian Poki*(raw snapper and tuna), so delicious. The citrus lime pairing with it was delicious I ate it all up. The bento box dish was good, it was pretty weird i got tempura carrot and broccoli but huge pieces of it and have usually had them cut to a bit size portion. The cucumber salad along with the bento box was good and sweet, the white rice i did not care for so much and was a bit warm. Overall i will defininetly come back again to try the sushi. The overall restaurant was clean and well put together, and definitely let in a lot of natural sunlight. You can see the sushi being prepared from the bar area and the friendly staff prepping it. As Japanese as it gets.

A great selection of sushi! Try the J Pop it’s so good! The atmosphere is good, great service and enjoyed eating at the sushi bar. What a fun experience. One of the best sushi bars I’ve been to.

Mediocre quality. Coming from the west coast side of Seattle, I had high expectations for seafood. The sashimi wasn’t fresh and the fish to rice ratio was poor. It’s understandable that the fish will not be as fresh but the amount given is not worth the price. I ordered the chirashi from the menu and there were only a few slices of fish and lots of rice that had no vinegar flavor. I’ll try the sushi rolls next time because I’ve heard better things about it. It’s one of the better sushi restaurants in Spokane though.

If there were a number less than zero. I walked to eat at this restaurant. I’d heard it raved about for months. I entered and sat by myself waiting to have my order taken. One person after another walked by me as though I was t there. I tried to get the attention of ANY server. They were too busy chatting with other employees. It was incredibly RUDE. I’m thoroughly disappointed. I got up and walked from the back of the restaurant and out the door without having even ice water served to me Not one employee helped me. Sad.

First of all dont be in a hurry. I dont often write reviews while at the restaurant but sitting at the sushi bar for 15 minutes after ordering and still no edamame or miso as a courtesy had to find something to do. Three chefs behind the bar, you would think on of them would strike up a conversation. Keep in mind I am the only one sitting at it. On to the food. Started with the uni and spicey tuna hand roll. Uni can vary a lot. It was strong and not really sweet, the spicey tuna was good but the rice was very warm on both. I want cool rice with my sushi not warm. Ordered a Poseidon roll too. Wasnt bad, wasnt great, wasnt cold either. Highlight of the meal was the house sake for 8 bucks and the lady server was pleasent and on top of it. Would not go back with other choices in town.

Good sushi, better location, excellent service. Came with a large party and the waitress was outstanding — always smiling, made me feel welcome, and did her job very well. The menu has options available for all tastes — much more than just sushi. Prices are spot on. Sushi was prepared well, but not outstanding. The negative is atmosphere — it feels too corporate and run-of-the-mill, not intimate enough — very large dining hall without much privacy. Overall, a good option. Unfortunately domain is not owned by the restaurant.

For the past two years, I have frequented on average once a week but sometimes more. It is by far the freshest sushi in Spokane. The staff is always friendly and helpful and the service is always impeccable and quick. There are so many things I love to order at . My favorite sushi roll is the Bins Roll but it is easily followed by the simple Washington roll. The sushi is always fresh and delicious with an artistic presentation as well as amazing flavors. The sushi chefs are quick, charming and fun to watch. For non sushi eaters, the donburi bowls are incredibly popular, large and very delicious! The staff here really go out of their way to make you feel welcome and tend to your needs. They learned my name and my order after only three visits. Truly, is an amazing restaurant with the highest quality of both food and service. I couldn’t recommend a better restaurant.

Wow! Don’t judge a book by its cover is definitely . If it weren’t for Unilocal,my wife and I would keep walking by this place. The sushi was excellent, high quality, and the service we received from Yuka was TOPNOTCH! As much as I love food, I love great customer service and I got both. Bravo! No wonder they have been rated top sushi for 3 consecutive years!
