Crazy disappointing. We came with 12 people, had a reservation for a Saturday evening. We were all in a great mood, out to celebrate 3 different people’s birthdays– right off the bat we told the server we’d be getting appetisers, mains, and desserts, and everyone ordered a drink. The drinks took almost a full 30 minutes. Then the waiter took our app order– we had the foresight to order our mains at the same time, worried that the service would stay slow, which it did. We didn’t receive our apps for another 40 minutes, and the waiter didn’t come back with water refills or for another drink order, which we had but decided to skip since everything was already moving slowly and we didn’t want to overwhelm the staff any further. 4 people ordered the prime rib: 1 ordered it rare, 2 ordered it med-rare, and 1 ordered it medium. All 4 came out medium. They were identical– and this is the most expensive item on the menu. We told our waiter, who informed us they would fix it but it would be another 40 minutes to wait, while everyone else already had their food. Out of the other 8 people, only 2 got the correct orders– the other were either missing their side, the cook was wrong on the burgers, or they got something they didn’t order, and told the staff they’d gotten mistakenly, but were ultimately charged for. This was a terrible, expensive experience. The poor cow who died for the sake of really ineptly cooked meat! The wait staff AND the bartender AND the kitchen are across-the-board incompetent. Clover is so expensive, and Spokane could definitely use great fine dining restaurants, but we deserve way, way better than this place.

Gonna have to be a short review, as I don’t have enough superlatives in my vocabulary to do Clover justice. Been there many times, and always leave thinking there is no way that could have been better. Well done!

Lovely dinner with 4 other couples until we were told we could not order dessert because another party was coming in. It was only 1 hour 45 minutes into our evening when we were basically kicked out. So we quickly wrapped up, paid our bill and left. As we were leaving we noticed there was no large party waiting. A disappointing end to a lovely dinner with friends. After several communications with Clovers regarding my post, I learned the manager tried to accommodate us by contacting the party after our reservation to move their reservations back a half hour. I want to add that I appreciate the manner in which Travis at Clovers handle our concern. I adjusted my rating accordingly. Clovers is still one of our favorite restaurants in Spokane; we will dine there again.

OMG! WOW! AMAZING! DELICIOUS! Any other synonym for fabulous and that describes our evening at Clover a couple of nights ago. We went to their Ballast Point Brewery tasting event and it was freaking magical! There was a 6 course tasting menu paired with 6 different Ballast Point beers and every course was pure perfection. The service was awesome, the chef described each item and why he paired with each beer and seriously it was delightful! I don’t think my palate has ever tasted anything so amazing but each dish truly was an experience that I can’t wait to have again. If you’ve never been to Clover you need to go to here — AWESOME!!!

This place was amazing!!! Took my cousin the chef for his birthday and he loved it. The food was all prepared perfectly and the service was excellent! I will definitely be back to try the brunch and the few dishes our table didn’t order.

Great food all the time and personable people working. Feel at home when I am there. Such a quaint place and easy to find something on the menu at all times

The food and service was excellent, however the menu that I found online was apparently outdated. I was very excited to order the Dungeness crab and mascarpone ravioli, but once I got to the restaurant, it and several other things were not available to order. Boo! The website I found this menu on is . I would recommend updating the menu so other people aren’t let down like I was! Otherwise, thank you for a fine dining experience!

When in Spokane, try Clover! I was so happy I did. It was a wonderful spot for a long solo lunch before my work meeting at Gonzaga. I was able to get some work done on their great wifi, while enjoying a yummy lunch. Peaceful spot in a converted house. Lovely service. Good food. I am taking one star as the French onion soup really lacked some flavor, but I’d still go back when I’m in town!

This review makes me so sad to post. Clover used to be my favorite place in Spokane. I never minded the prices because the food was so good. But. The last three times we have been there, we have been so disappointed. Food has been over cooked, under seasoned and just not as tasty. We kept trying because of our history and love of the place. It has now slipped into the category of just not worth the cost.

Went and enjoyed my first clover experience on a Sunday for breakfast. It was DELICIOUS! I ordered the classic breakfast. The breakfast potatoes are heavenly. Prior to breakfast arriving, we had some signature pastries made fresh from the clover bakery. Also delicious. The service was great. Breakfast prices are highly comparable to other establishments around town. My son ordered a hot cocoa to go with his meal. I had to try it. Best hot cocoa I’ve ever had. I can’t wait to have a dinner experience at clover and indulge in one of the many beverage selections.

This place gives me life. I can’t even stress how phenomenal the food is here. So much love is put into every dish. I always go for brunch on Sunday’s and get the quail egg whatever it is. Unbelievable. Get it. The atmosphere is also so fabulous and quaint!

This is totally a five star place! You have to check out their drink menu, they have a lot of very cool libations and mixers. I can’t wait to take my best friend here, he lives in Hawaii and I know he will just love this place. It really is a one-of-a-kind place that you can take someone special on a date or a group of friends that are visiting from out of town. It is a place that you would want to go for a special occasion like a birthday or a anniversary. But then again I could see myself eating here just about every Friday night to just celebrate life!

Stoppef in for our first time, we had some appetizers at the bar, they were fantastic. We also enjoyed some great cocktails and local brews. The service was spectacular. We are excited to go back again!

A very reasonable breakfast and lunch offering with a nice, but significantly more expensive dinner. You always feel taken care of at Clover and it feels like they really care about every detail. Pros: — Get breakfast! — Cool location Cons: — A little pricey — Smaller portions

The pros: beautifully decorated restaurant In a former residence. Helpful and friendly staff. Varied menu. The cons: high prices and small portions. We ordered a sandwich hold the meat and a salad add chicken. Instead of putting the meat from the sandwich on the salad, they charged us full price for the sandwich and $ 7 to add chicken to the salad. That doesn’t sit right with me.

Best brunch, highly recommend!!! My husband and I started with a Bloody Mary, that came with yummy accompaniments! Then I got the turkey bacon sandwich, and he had the Reuben sandwich. Both were delicious. Cute atmosphere and great service!

My husband and I enjoyed a lovely brunch here on the morning of our wedding day — just the two of us — and it couldn’t have been a better way to begin our special day. We dined in their outdoor patio, which I highly recommend if weather permits, it’s quiet and cozy and makes for a nice ambiance in my opinion. The food was spectacular — from griddled cornbread to fried eggs and french toast to pork belly, everything was cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious. And to make the occasion extra special, they provided us with drinks and a tasty pastry at no additional charge. I look forward to coming back the next time we’re in town.

I had a wonderful lunch here. I hope I can return; this is a place I would love to share with Rebecca. I ordered a melon salad; it included avocado and feta. It was very good. I paired it with gazpacho soup. It had a wonderful bite to it. It had great spice and texture. This is a great spot. Glad I wandered in.

MYBESTOFBRUNCHSPOKANE OPENSATURDAYANDSUNDAY10:00 — 2:00pm We came to Clover for Father’s Day Brunch. We made reservations a few weeks in advance for our party of 7(with highchair). The phone call to set up the reservation was very pleasant! When we arrived they had everything set up for us– including the highchair– at a lovely patio table. It was shaded and had gorgeous foliage, potted plants and a fountain nearby. It felt really special and classy. I couldn’t have anything else for my dear Dad! I love Clover for brunch because they had something for everyone on the menu and it is at a more affordable price point. We were able to try a fun egg white cocktail(So very New Orleans) in addition to their innovative and tasty brunch interpretations. Overall every dish had some unique twist and a focus on flavor(I could tell the ingredients and herbs were fresh and carefully chosen). Service was gracious, friendly and thoughtful. I will be back.
