We ate here tonight, with reservations for a party of around 30. We waited in the entry way for about ten minutes before they seated us. Then, even though we made our reservations as a group, they served us at different rates. In fact, three of our tables waited an hour and ten minutes before we got our entrees. yes – Water, drinks, and bread and butter for an hour and ten minutes. Even at just our table, they did not manage to serve us all at once; so after waiting for so long, some at our table were eating their meal while a few others were still waiting. They did offer us dessert to compensate for the slow service. None of us had entrees amazing enough to warrant the high-end prices. Some entrees were even a little cool, and we agreed that the portions were unusually small. I mostly want to give the feedback so that perhaps they will see this and devise a better strategy for serving groups of that size. Tonight’s experience frustrated us.

Sloooooooooooooooow. We went for dinner on an Early Sunday evening around 5:30 and our meal took nearly 2 hours. They did not appear to be particularly busy, but I do think they were understaffed. The waitress acknowledged the slowness a couple of times but offered no apologies and did not offer to give us a free dessert or something to compensate us for the terribly slow service. The food was good as it always is, but when you wait so long for the meal a lot of the pleasure is lost. This is the second time in three trips to Anthony’s that we have had this problem. We will probably find another special occasion restaurant.

My recommendation is to avoid this place on holidays and special occasions, always. We tried the February 13th as our Valentine’s dinner.(I made reservations three weeks in advance) We «requested» a view of the falls and instead got a an extremely wobbly 24″ in diameter table with a view of the kitchen. We asked for something different and they tried to fix the wobble. We ordered a crab dip appetizer that was served at room temperature in lieu of hot from the oven. It was too big to fit on the table no less. Good luck getting a drink refilled. I went for the steak and shrimp and got a tepid steak on a cold plate served with four sad shrimp that had died of boredom. Medium and extremely rare are the same to their cook, so I got to gnaw my way through a cold, blood red hunk of meat as tough as shoe leather. My guess was it had sat there for at least 30 minutes before the waitress wandered by and saw it. Good luck getting a drink refilled. Mt wife ordered tempura shrimp and got six shrimp served on a heap of tempura onion rings, mushrooms and asparagus. At least is was mildly hot. But she did not enjoy digging through the heap of random tempura vegetables to find those much coveted shrimp. AGAIN, best of luck with that drink refill. The only thing to arrive promptly at the table was the check. When combined with the regular kicks and bumps to my wife’s chair from rushing staff it was a trying night at best. This was our 4th visit to this particular Anthony’s. When you come for dinner on a perfectly dead weeknight(twice for us) it is great. A weekend night or holiday and it is as bad as a downtown Denny’s at 2:30am.

Great dining experience. Staff was very polite and professional. Great location with view of the falls. My food was great, had the steak and lobster combo. Satisfied my lobster craving. The sides could use a little more flavor. Clam chowder was also excellent. My wive’s seafood fettuccine was lacking flavor, she wasn’t impressed. Dinner included complementary valet parking. Overall good experience, but we’ll have to try some other dishes next time.

My coworkers and I tried this place while we were in town on a business trip. The lobster and steak was good, service was great, prices were great, and the view outside was beautiful!

I’ve been here once before and enjoyed myself. It was a company Christmas party and it wasn’t terrible. This time around I was severely disappointed by the Dungeness Crab Fettuccine, completely bland… my sister’s steak was undercooked(we ordered well done), sent it back… came back still pink. We ordered a couple of drinks and couldn’t taste the liquor whatsoever. For the price, we could have probably gone to Red Lobster twice. Let the record show I re-download the Unilocal app because I felt so strongly about leaving this review. 3 stars is only for the excellent wait staff.

Sub par. For the amount of $$ you pay the servings should be more. Great wait staff but they should rethink the menu and cooks. When you order and pay good money for oysters you expect more than 6 or 7 and it would be nice if they were plump and not all shriveled up. The carrots with the kale is unappetizing. The carrots were tough. Then to top it off you have a ice cream scoop of mashed potatoes that are somewhat dry. Now on serving size, I don’t expect to have leftovers but at least put something on my plate that I can leave satisfied.

The absolute best happy hour deals and times with the best views in Spokane. Drinks are stiff. Sadly, no matter how many times I try this place, their food is just not good. It doesn’t even compete with many fabulous restaurants in the area. So sad because there is so much promise, which is why I keep trying. Maybe some day it’ll all come together?

I was looking for a place to get some good seafood and Anthony’s came up on Unilocal.I found a ad online for an early bird dinner for $ 14.95 it turned out to be $ 21.95 but I figured if it was good I didn’t mind. It turned out to be a bad decision. The bay shrimp in the shrimp cocktail were so small they reminded me of sea monkeys and they weren’t clean, and the Salmon was on par with what you get at Skippers for about 1⁄3 the cost. Great view of the Spokane Falls though.

Our party of 8 had reservations. We arrived early and a few of us decided to order drinks and sit at the bar. The bartender was not altogether friendly and definitely not in a hurry to serve us. The restaurant did not seem to be busy. However, we were not seated for 15 minutes after our reservation time even though the hosts/hostesses kept reassuring us our table would be ready soon. Once we were seated, the bartender acted as our waitress. The food was very good. Our recommendations are the lobster fettuccine, the shrimp scampi, prawn tempura, London broil, and the ahi roll. The bread was divine! Our largest complaint was how very slow the process was. We spent a lot of time waiting from the time we got there until we paid and left. At one point the waitress was pretty snippy with us. Maybe she was having a bad day.

I came here for dinner just before going to a concert. The prices are fair and the food is great. It’s a very clean restaurant as well. The waitstaff is very friendly. The location is great, very scenic.

Our BCI Bicycle Club was in town from Southern California and quite a few of us ate here. Some ate here several times. We went for lunch and found their prices to be quite reasonable. They even have a $ 10 lunch menu. My husband had the clam chowder and blackened Rockfish Combination. He thought the clam chowder was good and the rockfish blackened taco was very good. He thought the salsa that came with the taco could’ve been a little more flavorful. I had the crab and artichoke toast with coleslaw. It was a nice warm sandwich and it was excellent. The coleslaw Was also very refreshing. It was kind of like an Asian slaw. We arrived a little after 1PM so the restaurant wasn’t too busy. They were so nice to let us take our bicycles through the dining room and onto the patio that overlooks the water. We had a delightful lunch and could’ve sat on the patio all day. They also were nice and asked if we wanted separate checks. The customer service was terrific.

We got a table outside which was very good. Saturday was a beautiful night. I had blackened rockfish that was excellent. Mom enjoyed her tempura shrimp but thought they were a bit overdone. They were pretty dark. Wife had fried oysters that were greasy and the breading was mushy. Oysters were very good though. I am sure it’s difficult to keep the breading on oysters crisp. Service was good except for the waiter had a tendency to talk a bit to much and didn’t get water refilled when he should have. But I liked him and a still left a good tip. All in all a nice place to go eat seafood.

This place was an interesting find. We were on our way to the Spokane Airport and wanted a quick lunch beforehand. We sat outside, with a beautiful view of the dam/water shed. The staff was very friendly and the food came out fast and delicious. I tried their clam chowder, which was good, but I have had better. My wife had a salad, which looked good, but I was not feeling it. I had the fish and chips, which was well breaded and tasted great. Pricing was a tab bit high, but that seems to be the norm for most seafood locations. It’s worth a try, but parking/traffic can be a bear.

I went in for happy hour yesterday and had a mixed experience. At 3pm I only saw a bartender waiting on all tables inside and the hardest working busboy. So service to start was slow. Then we got an up front show to the dinner shift staff coming on. It was like we weren’t even there they were so unprofessional. Then when I asked for something from my waiter there was a delay since he needed to go flirt with the hostess. The entire time I did not see a manager on the floor. As someone who has worked in the industry I agree with the other reviewers and management needs to get it together if they expect to call themselves fine dining. The two stars goes to the food and cocktails.

Great lunch menu, even for those on a budget. The service was great, the view spectacular and the Mango Cobb Salad was fresh and satisfying.

The sockeye salmon was excellent! It was served with basmati rice and snap peas. The fish was amazingly fresh and tasty. A little pricey for lunch($ 21.95), but worth it. Our server was also very friendly. I’m visiting Spokane for business and wound certainly come back here.

First off the staff was great– appropriately attentive. We were there for a late lunch on a weekday so it wasn’t crowded. When I asked about a huckleberry influenced wine on the wine list the waiter offered to bring me a taste. Unless you like REALLY sweet entry level wines I would not recommend it; but now I know. The clam chowder was very good. The Dungeness crab point were good but the crab flavor was masked by the sauce.

Amanda was our server for a party of 22. She handled the evening with expert service. They made the celebration dinner event an evening to remember and would definitely recommend putting your faith in them to provide you a great dining experience. Food prep and dishes are very tasty and done well. Will definitely return and looking forward to coming back. Free valet parking when arriving is also a plus.

Every time I come to Spokane I always make sure to stop by Anthony’s. It has reasonable prices, AMAZING views and good service. They don’t try to do much, with only 3 page menu which I APPRECIATE!!! Be awesome with a few items vs being average with a lot of items. I always get the salmon tacos, clam chowder(it’s amazing says this guy from Boston), and one of their ales. It gets a bit cold inside with the AC so bring a jacket. If you haven’t, try to get a seat outside at least once for the view. Thanks!!!
