This haunted hayride was such a disapoinment. For 20 dollars a person we expected to be some what frightened.(Please keep in mind this is highly over priced for the quality you get.) It however didn’t scare my husband or I once. In fact I felt like a poorly written and filmed B horror film is better. If you know anything about B horror films that says a lot to how disapointing this was. The actors didn’t hold character well, and almost every bit of action was predictable. I gave it a 2 star though, because at least you get some cheesy entertainment and a hayride in the moonlight.

One of the nicer Hayrides in the area in terms of fear factor and keeping things fresh every year. I have not seen any repeated theme throughout the years — with the exception of chainsaw guy(sorry for throwing that bottle at you Mr. Saw!). But what is a haunted hayride without leather face? Family friendly with the typical concessions. Red Osier and deep fried oreos? Yes please! I will continue to do this haunted hayride as long as Roc Brewing Co. continues their annual tradition of hosting their Boos n Brews event. Tickets are sold at the brewery and it includes transpo to VerHulst with drink and food specials. If you are a drinking adult who enjoys micros with a side of scare, this event is for you. Follow Roc Brewing Co on FB to keep up with the updates.
