If I could give them no stars I would. Mind you– this is for the bar part ONLY. I’m rating only on the service my boyfriend and I received tonight when we sat down to order drinks for his 31st birthday. The food we haven’t tried but after tonight I don’t think we will EVER try it. When we initially got there we sat down at a table in the bar part of the restaurant. She asked us for our ID’s. We handed them to her and she inspected them for a good 3 minutes in front of our faces as if she were the sheriff in town. She then said be right back and she then proceeded to process them even more by bending them and inspecting them even further. And the real kicker is that she brought them into the kitchen to ask other people’s opinions. She then proceeded back to the table, threw down our ID’s and flat out said«I don’t feel comfortable serving you» and turned her back and walked away before we could even respond. I mean REALLY?! Come on now. We’ve been to 5 star restaurants around the world without ANY question. We liked it better when it was Swifty’s anyway! The manager will be getting a phone call tomorrow without a doubt.

Visited in early August 2014. Our party was very happy with the steak and pasta dishes. Avoid the ¾ lb stuffed Logan burger. It was neither ¾ lb, nor stuffed with cheddar cheese and bacon as described on the menu. It had a few sliced of bacon and cheese on top. The table consensus was that it was ¼ at best. When I questioned the waitress about the weight, her retort was to ask if I had a scale in my pocket!!!

This is a review for Steve and his crew that catered my wedding at Camp Fowler. They did an absolutely outstanding job. Everything was professional, and the food was lights out. Over a year later, people are still complementing us on the food from our wedding. Steve truly means it when he says that he will do what you want. For example, a few weeks beforehand I mentioned that I was hoping to have some pies in addition to the cake. He said no problem, what kind do you want. When I told him key lime, berry, and chocolate peanut butter, without missing a beat, he said no problem at all. He delivered big time on a very important day. And for that, I’m very grateful.

This is my favorite restaurant in Speculator(but Speculator is a very small town). We have a summer house nearby, and have come here about ten times over the years. The staff is nice, and they always have several very good beers on tap, and Frank’s Red Hot on every table. The food is tasty, the portions are big and full of fat(like most of the customers). The waitstaff is not exactly swift, but they do the best they know how. A nice place for dinner, if you don’t expect a lot.

Last year while working at COTW I went to logans for a special going away dinner with a friend and I would not recommend going to this restaurant. I payed around $ 8 for a cheese quesadilla which was made with two 8″ tortillas with a little cheese between. If I wanted something so bland I could have made it in the microwave at camp. Logans, please consider improving this item. I have nothing to say as to the rest of the menu, but from the lack of flavor in what I did buy, I would not go back there again.

The beer is cold and the moose are chillin too… Decent food, and I wouldn’t expect much more… I had a decent fish sandwich that hit the spot. My girlfriend had the fish and chips and was definitely underwhelmed. Given your options though in the area, it’s decent eats for a decent price

Good place for a casual meal or a drink. Free Wi-Fi. Logan’s is just off the Four Corners on Route 8. Decorated with photos of the owner’s son, Logan, this spot is a great stop for a tasty lunch with or without kids. The bar area, which has a good number of beers on tap, is in a separate area from the dining room, though visible through windows if you’re trying to catch the score of the game. We ordered the Philly cheeseteak special wrap with onion rings(delicious), French Dip sandwich with slaw(just so so), and a children’s meal which came with star shaped fries. Service was efficient and friendly, and the place really filled up even on a weekday in off season.

We stopped at Logan’s on our way to Chestertown and boy am I glad we did! I had the turkey with brie and cranberry mayo. It was supposed to be on a croissant but I substitued sour dough instead. I would not have thought to put turkey with brie but it was fantastic. Clearly catering to the snowmobile crowd in the winter, Logan’s is a fun stop in the summer too! Service was friendly and prompt with the waiter inquiring if we were«just passing through», something that probably happens alot in Speculator. If you live here or are just passin’ thru, Logan’s is definitely worth a vist.
