This would be our new spot had the customer service not been horrible. I called this morning spoke to the owners wife. I asked her to hold size 4 shoes for my daughter. I was told they’d be behind the register. We drove all the way here & she sold them. That’s the rudest thing I’ve ever heard. What kind of service is that? I ended up getting a smaller size before I knew she did that to us. I wish I never went into that store. As a store Manger I would never tell someone I’d hold something then sell it before they got there. With that kind of lacking in common courtesy I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. It’s literally mind boggling why she would do that to us when I said we were coming & she said they’ll be here behind the register. I’m pissed off to be honest.

The local hiker is a great new addition to Main Street in Spartanburg. They were the winner of Spartanburg’s Main Street Challenge, a program to support the creation of new local businesses downtown.
I was looking for Christmas presents and found a pair of bamboo socks that were made in the USA. The Local Hiker has a good selection of outdoor equipment and very friendly staff.
