I moved here from Ohio and was having a hard time finding a good nail salon. Finally after trying several and eight months later… I discovered Hollys Nails. Wonderful! Best pedicure ever. Kim is thorough and communicates well with her customers. Reasonably priced and cleaning techniques are used to assure no nail fungus. This is a great place and will soon be changing its name to La Nail. Same people will work here. Awesome experience!

i usually don’t review places in my hometown(no one here knows about Unilocal), but i could not let my eyebrow injustice go undocumented! yesterday was my first day back from peru. before i had been moving and in finals, so needless to say — it had been a while and i was starting to look like a sesame street character. i decided to go with my mom to the local nail salon and get myself cleaned up. usually if i go somewhere new they just make it more rounded than i care for. i prefer a «peaked» brow. but alas, this girl knew english! i thought i had hit the eyebrow waxing motherload. i told her my preference… even demonstrated on my brow. she first wiped them down with alcohol, telling me that it was to absorb the oil off my face. while i was pondering the polarity differences between the oil and –oh… she proceeded. now first off — if you have sensitive skin the alcohol basically allows her to rip off the top layer of skin *something i just sadly learned* my forehead and eye area are burning as i review. i feel like i’ve just gotten a chemical peel. secondly, she basically gave me the exact same shape that she had. which was super thin and rounded. i now have half of what i used to! i left crying. and i don’t often cry. beware Unilocalers. perhaps you won’t go to this salon… but just remember — your local hometown is not a big city and inexperienced people can cause some serious damage. on that note. if anyone has some amazing threading salons, let me know! my waxing days are over.
