I found the ribs here to be the best I’ve had at a restaurant. The hush puppies were very crispy and hot, not huge on flavor but still tasty. The okra was crispy and tasty and the baked beans, wow, really good. They’re flavored with a bit of cinnamon giving them a distinct flavor. The service was great. Our server had a great attitude, kept our drinks full and was polite and gracious.
I highly recommend this restaurant.

Great place … Just passing through and took the family for dinner while staying at a local hotel. Server was great, food was all outstanding. Would highly recommend. The sliced BBQ was outstanding and the kids loved the mac and cheese with their foo.

Not good at all. Chopped chicken sandwich consisted of two pieces of pale chicken, no flavor and cry dry. The sauce was also not good. The hush puppies that came with it were the only decent thing. Disappointing.

Probably one of the best tasting BBQ joints I’ve been to.
Even customers waiting in line spend time telling each other how good the chicken is.
I can recommend the chopped boneless bbq chicken. Mac & Cheese is one of the best too…

Local place, service was very good, fast and personal. We ordered the BBQ chicken, the half and the shredded. Half chicken was great and tasty, the shredded plate was OK. We also the brisket plate which was good. The sides were OK, needed a little bit more seasoning. Loved the onion rings and loved their BBQ sauce

I was looking for a good BBQ restaurant and found this restaurant. I ordered the Brisket Plate and the meat was very juicy and the sauce was great. Also, the BBQ chicken was awesome. Their sides were also great. The hush puppies were good and the okra was also good. Overall, I was very satisfied and I recommend it to BBQ lovers and just people looking for good food.

The Brisket is delicious and tender but it soaks the bun through. I liked the frys more then the potato salad. I didn’t like the hush puppies. Service was fair and the restaurant was clean.

This place is amazing. Point blank. The barbecue was mouth-​watering, the hush puppies were crisp, but not overdone, and the fries were seasoned great.
Not being from the south, I wanted some good southern BBQ, and this place DELIVERED. Sweet tea was on point as well. Loved it. Plan on going the next time I’m in the area.

I visited twice this month from Atlanta. A true BBQ place. The BBQ pork was moist, full of wood flavor, and served without sauce. The sauces are available on the counter but not needed. Thought not a fan of chopped, I like pulled, this chopped impressed me. The sides I tried on my visits were the greens, mac & cheese, Brunswick stew, fried okra, and of course their signature hush-​puppies.
The last visit they forced me (in case my wife reads this) to enjoy their home-​made banana pudding.
The folks there were very friendly and ready to chat. I found myself feeling very welcomed and included in conversations sitting at the counter. I look forward to my next visit.

I find this place to be one of the best bbq restaurants around. The food isn’t greasy, cheap price, and great service. If you are in town and want good bbq that is convenient off the interstate 85 stop here.

Don’t get the beef brisket unless you want tough, unsmoked beef with tons of fat. So disappointed! The tea and slaw were really good. I was pleasantly surprised to get hush puppies (that were pretty dry) that came along with the meal plus two sides. The squash was fresh but unfortunately mushy.

We had Brunswick Stew, pulled pork sandwich, chopped BBQ plate, slaw, beans, green beans, and hush puppies. Everything was tasty, and the service was great. Prices were very reasonable, and the pig theme was cute. I would definitely eat here again.

Little shack of a place. The Southeast Linuxfest crowd that I was with practically filled the place. Definitely no frills. The BBQ was great. Get the BBQ Slaw and Pulled Pork. Hushpuppies are the freebie with your meal. They were flavorful and not too greasy. Kind of tasted like corndog batter to me, but pretty good for a freebie. All of the sides were excellent.
