Why do I keep coming? Hmmmm I have to ask myself that love the pizza and ranch out of this world they have my fav beer on tap but the service! SUCKs with a Capitol S! We went in on a Friday night last week JUN10 and it took over an hour for our pizza… that’s nothing I’ve been on a lunch break a dedicated an hour to a slice… today at 1:53 the next place was dead like 3 people I got my slice and beer… and nothing? No how are you or even a check I had to walk up to the front for that while they all talked amongst themselves in the kitchen… I give two stars graciously for the pizza itself. I miss the one girl who used to be here… black purple hair she rocked customer service think I’ll stick with Victorian square they seen to be better

One of the best Pizza’s I’ve had and I’m picky about pizza. The crust is hand made and tossed, tastes like soft homemade bread with a crunchy crust. I get the BBQ Chicken pizza and the sauce is perfect, not watery or too spicy, the cheese isn’t so heavy that the pizza can’t be eaten, but is just right and has the flavor of higher quality mozzarella, not just chewy with no real flavor like many can be. Casual atmosphere with an ale house type atmosphere. Price is a bit higher than you would usually pay for Pizza but you can order a slice combo and it’s enough to fill me up for $ 7.00

Picked up 2 large pizzas yesterday. Crust and toppings were around 3/8″ thick. Something was obviously wrong with their pizza. The most miserable, sickly looking tasteless pizzas for $ 45+. What an embarrasement for«Blind Onion». Toppings were scarce and mushrooms were thin pieces, not slices. Worst pizzas I have seen and tasted in years. Not my first time there, matter of fact we had my daughters graduation party in their back room several years ago. The pizza has always been one of the best in the area. The clerk opened the pizzas to show me they were what I ordered. If this is a product change, it is a fatal move for the pizza joint that we have enjoyed so much in the past. My family, my sister-in-law, my mother-in-law, and friends that have frequented the«Blind Onion» with confidence in the past: color us gone.

We have been getting their pizzas for a few years now. Yes, we know they are a little pricey(around $ 18 – 20 for a medium pizza) but they are totally worth it!!! Trust me, the crust is perfect not too thick not too thin just right!!! with a little sweet in it… the secret ingredient that makes us keep coming back :) Are you wondering why only 2 stars? well, we made a mistake! we decided to order their wings. We got these tinny little mini wings, flavorless, meatless… I don’t think their were chicken wings… they look more like quail wings. Our order was missing a side of veggies and/or any kind of sauce on the side. And they were expensive! Bummer! Now you know, go there for the pizzas not for the wings !!!

We tried this location after hearing several recommendations of The Blind Onion from friends. Maybe it’s just this location at fault, but we had a pretty horrible experience. First of all, we ordered the bread stick appetizer to start since we here very hungry, but they didn’t even bring it out until literally about 1 minute before our pizza. Second, I ordered a greek pizza which was supposed to come with Kalamata olives, artichoke hearts, red onions, and sun dried tomatoes, but what I received was a pizza with about 3 slivers of sun dried tomatoes, about 3 pieces of red onion, a decent amount of artichoke hearts(no complaints there), and absolutely no olives. It pretty much looked like a white-sauce cheese pizza, which is very disappointing when you pay the money for a specialty pizza. The pizza tasted«ok,» crust is very pretty but on the plain side in terms of flavor. In terms of staff, our waitress was very pleasant and friendly, but 2 other girls who assisted with bringing our food were not very knowledgeable. Overall we were not very happy with our experience and won’t be going back.

Best pizza in Sparks! Their menu has a wide variety of pizza options, so you’re sure to find something amazing. The staff is friendly. Plenty of TVs to watch sports. There’s also some games around for the kids.

Friday nights my wife and I leave the confines of our kitchen and try out different restaurants. This Friday we decide to go to The Blind Onion on Los Altos Blvd in Sparks. We got there around 5:00 and we were seated immediately. Getting there on the early side of dinner it wasn’t too busy yet. Our server took drink order instantly and began to browse the menu. Being a pizza place the menu was very typical with standards plus some specialties. What caught our eye was the special on the chalkboard up front. I can’t recall the name of the pizza, but it had bacon, sausage, pineapple, red peppers, bbq sauce, mozzarella, and dollops of cream cheese. Definitely not your typical pizza. While we waited for our pizza we noticed they had a variety of simple games such as connect four, checkers and Jenga available. My wife and I set up a Jenga match and began to battle it out. It was pretty intense and completive, and sadly I lost, but after only one match the pizza was being delivered to our table. For being an off the wall Pizza it was absolutely delicious. My only grip would be that it was a bit pricey for pizza, but in their defense it was very original and super delicious. I would strongly recommend you go down and try their pizza. Also, don’t forget to pour some honey on your plate and dip your crust. Not normal, but awesome just ask my two-year-old.

Reno has a lot of pizza places to offer, and The Blind Onion is one of my favorite options. I’ve never had a bad meal here, and the staff is friendly and good at their jobs. Skip the Domino’s and go local! Visiting The Blind Onion, you can either build your own pizza or choose from the menu. There are lots of options and a featured«Flavor of the Month,» and I know this location has a binder full of past monthly specials that they can generally make again at your request. I’m not always a big crust person, but their crust is amazing. You can also dip it in honey for a sweeter treat — it may sound weird, but it’s good. Blind Onion makes their own dough, pizza sauces, and ranch dressing as well(and the ranch is soooo good). Aside from the pizza, you can’t go wrong with the wings or cinnamon sticks. Saving the best for last, I recently learned about what may be one of the best pizza deals in Reno. Blind Onion offers a «super slice» of pizza(which is two slices) and a soda($ 7) or beer($ 10) for a ridiculously low price. You can build your own slice, too, and it’s made fresh — for just SEVENDOLLARS. Slap down a $ 10 bill(because tipping makes you a good person) and you’ve got a complete meal that’ll leave you full and happy. Great pizza and great service at a great price. What are you waiting for?!

Tasty pizza joint! This place seems to always be busy. I love the fact that they have games for kids to play! When you have a 2 year that can’t sit still this is such a genius idea! Last night their special was«the luau» mango BBQ sauce, jalepenos, bacon… Loaded with it! And pineapples. That was DELICIOUS! I LOVE this place and love that they cater to every age. We will always be back :)

Best pizza in the world! My husband and I come here about once a week and we can’t get enough. Great beer on tap, amazing pizza and wonderful customer service. Will always be my favorite pizza joint!!!

I love the super slice deal here. A slice(really two large slices) of pizza and a beer for a great price $ 6-$ 10 depending on what size and type of beer is a great deal. It’s almost always a perfect. Consistency on pizza varies somewhat but is always pretty great. We make a stop here often after yard work, Home Depot or Costco shopping or other errands. The Atmosphere is always awesome. Service is great always and we always see friends we know.

I’ve always been a fan of Blind Onion. I must say that each location should be taken into consideration separately. My ranking in order from best to less: 1. Wild Garlic(Mt. Rose) 5 stars 2. Blind Onion(S. Virginia) 3. Blind Onion(Spanish Springs) could tie for #2 can’t tell from one visit. 4. Blind Onion(Kings Row) 5. Blind Onion(Victorian Square) I visited the Spanish Springs location on 9÷7÷15 with my 2 kids and all I can say is wow, it’s huge! We chose a table and I prepared to go to the counter to order and was greeted by a waitress who would be taking our order at the table. My son ordered wings, he liked them(I don’t partake). We ordered our usual small pizza with Mozzarella and red sauce. The crust was a tad bit thinner than I usually like, but the braided edge was delish as usual, but not quite as plump as I’ve found at my #1 and #2 locations. I will gladly venture to this location again and try a beer ans side Caesar(my usual). This would be a great location to take a group or party, but a small family or solo would be just as comfortable.

The pizza is outstanding, especially the crust. Great service. We had a blast. Our waiters was curt, rude, but hilarious.(Sarcasm) She was great. The way her name was Bree

Not my favorite pizza, but it is good. I am not a big fan of thick crust, but this pizza other than the crust is good. Many people dip the crust in honey, i am not a big fan of that. The crust itself if braided and looks awesome but for me it is just to chewy. The lunch special is 7 dollars and includes one slice of pizza with one topping. The one slice is huge and they slice it into two slices. The pizza is thin crust with a generous amount of sauce and cheese. The restaurant is very inviting with seating on both the inside and out. On this day i ordered a personal size pepperoni pizza. Perfect size, six small slices with gooey mozzarella and pepperoni. This pizza is good, it is just my preference to have thin crust. Additional toppings are suggested and just add to the pizza flavor

Been our very favorite pizza spot since they opened. I’m surprised to not see about 1005 star reviews for this place! If you haven’t tried it yet, and love pizza, it’s time you do.

Love this place! Good pizza and free shuffleboard… last time we were in my daughter made a joke about a blind minion and they liked it… they named their pizza of the month after it!!!

Love the atmosphere and the pizza. The service was quick and the staff was friendly. Someone even took the time to show my kids how to play shuffleboard. We’re kind of a plain cheese bunch but it was perfect. The crust was thin and fresh and the sauce was delicious. Really as perfect as a pizza can be. I’m sure I’ll try some of the other creations at some point in the future. I hear they have a good happy hour. Digging this neighborhood pizza joint & bar.

Love their pizza but ever since our favorite bartender left, things are not the same. The people are not as friendly as I would like at a pizza joint but I can’t complain about their amazing pizza and beer. I ALWAYS get their Blind Hawaiian with white sauce and I’m obsessed! They have taps they change out every month as well as a good happy hour(pizza and a pitcher or pizza and a beer). Good prices… This is also a good spot to come to watch sporting events, it’s usually pretty causal and a fun time!

On a Saturday afternoon after a morning of planting a few shrubs and ornamental grasses this is a perfect place for a break! The special $ 10 deal for a couple pizza slices and 22 oz draft is our favorite — not too big and not too small! A great way to get a quality pizza without having to order the full deal. I like to sit at the bar and read the closed captioning on the big tv… it’s comfortable, the staff have always been friendly and there’s a magic 8 ball to answer any questions that might arise!

The Blind Onion in Sparks is somewhat of a disappointment. I have been here numerous times and I don’t know what you have to do to get service but twice now I have had to actually go up to the bar to get someone to take our order. The bartender even apologized and said he would be out to check on us. Nope never happened. Had to get his attention for him to come check on us. The pizza is ok. I like it and I love dipping the crust in honey but it isn’t good enough to get this place more stars. Overall, I wish they could get their act together because it would be nice to hang out there more often.
