Shelly’s Hardware

This is my favorite hardware store! It is easy to get in and out and there are plenty of staff to answer questions. This little store has almost everything. I drive past the Home Depot to go here, they have a bigger selection of hardware.

This place is great! They are excellent at customer service and remind me of the old fashioned general store. They always either have what I need, can rent it or point me in the trusted direction to get it. This is the first place I’d go if I couldn’t get ahold of dear ol’ dad.

This is a great place! Staff is always very helpful and they know every inch and cranny of the store. Sometimes it’s fun to just take some time and just look at all the hardware etc they have… if you see something you have no idea what it is and what it does — THEY KNOW ALL ABOUT IT! Just wish the store was closer to me… but still worth the trip.

I’ve been going to this place since I was a kid. It’s still one of my favorite places in the world. It’s easy to find what you need. It has almost everything. The service is good and friendly, can’t remember when it hasn’t been. It’s a great little neighborhood hardware store. Very happy to give them my business when on that side of town.

Their motto says it best «Old fashioned value, convenience and customer service.» Shelly’s Hardware is all those things. In a world of over-​promise and under-​deliver, Shelly’s makes good on their motto and offers phenomenal customer service.
I look forward to shopping here and rarely leave empty handed. They have a little bit of everything, from hand tools to dry wall. Their local honey and key cutting are my favorite services. I’ve had keys cut at wal-​mart and Home Depot and had to have them recut because they didn’t work. I’ve never had that problem at Shelly’s. Plus I’m greeted and engaged by happy employees when I visit. Having someone remember you and your past projects is huge! I don’t think that happens at Lowes.
Today I was on an actual mission to get casters for a table in my garage. Surprisingly enough, they had a huge selection and I found exactly what I was looking for plus a big bag of free popcorn to munch on. Did I mention how much I love this store?

Best hardware store in town. You can expect excellent customer service and friendly people waiting to help you no matter what. They have a good selection of what you would anticipate at a hardware store, plus lots of fun old-​fashioned candy. They also make keys quickly and have some nice gardening products.
Great location and friendly people. Check them out.

Lowe’s and Home Depot notwithstanding, Shelly’s Hardware is not just hanging in there, but they seem to be thriving in their niche. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and unless I’m looking for lumber, they not only have what I need, but they know exactly where it is. Whenever I have a home improvement shopping list, I make it a habit to go there first, and then pick up the few odd items they don’t have somewhere else.
