First time going hear. Expensive, and mediocre taste. Probably won’t be coming back. If it was half the price it might be worth it. But I can think of a bunch more restaurants that are better.

I walked in to get a sweet treat for my husband at about 3:15pm this afternoon. The place was empty, there wasn’t much to choose so my decision was made rather quickly. I looked at the two gals working but they didn’t seem to notice me, no worries, I thought to myself, they’ll see me. In walks a woman, says excuse me as she walks past me to the register and begins asking questions about the different beverages offered. Then I hear her say, ok, I’ll take that one. I’m watching all of this, still waiting for someone to greet & service me. The woman notices me staring at her and it apparently dawns on her that maybe, JUSTMAYBE I hadn’t been helped yet. She decided to ask if I had been helped. I told her no, said that’s ok, rolled my eyes & walked out. The audacity of this woman to assume I had already been helped is unbelievable, I wasn’t anywhere near the register to check out & one of the gals wasn’t even on the other side of the refrigerated case in front of me! I don’t really blame the young gals working there because this rude woman didn’t give them a chance. But they knew someone had walked in & it was me, BEFORE«Narcississy» almost ran me over. Those little gals, at that time, should have asked what they could do for me & told Sissy they’d be with her in minute. Horrible.

The muffins here are huge! They are also pretty good. A bit on the pricier side but it’s not too bad since they are pretty big. I wouldn’t say they are the best but they are worth a try. You can also find smoothies and sandwiches here.

This place runs like a well oiled machine. I arrived saturday around 9am which seemed to be their busy time. They made the line move quick! Everyone seemed to be working as a team and everything flowed well. Their muffins are tasty, I had a cranberry cheesecake flavored one. I ordered a breakfast sandwich as well, I hope they put a little more bacon on it next time, a good third of the sandwich did not have any bacon. Could just have been an off day since they were so busy. Don’t forget to check in on Unilocal so you can try a muffin on the house! What a good find in east Sparks. Don’t come here with a big group, they only have a small seating area good for around 4 people per table and only a handful of tables.

I am OBSESSED with My Favorite Muffin! I randomly came across it a couple weeks ago and have been hooked. The food is great and the muffins are even better! I normally always get their Veg Out sandwich with cream cheese and I add turkey to it… best ever. The ladies there are also the sweetest ever and are always super nice. Highly recommended!(I drag my co workers there every chance I get.)

I love coming here! The staff are so friendly, and Victoria in particular,(blonde girl) always talks to everyone and greets them as if they’ve been best friends for ages. Such awesome vibes in here!

My favorite muffin and bagel café is a chain breakfast restaurant, that also serves sandwiches for lunch. For a chain restaurant they do a good job on there bagels and muffins. Deb and I went there as fte r church and before a movie. We both did not want a full breakfast, so this fit the bill. There is ample seating inside and two tables outside. The ambiance is w uite inviting for a small coffee, bagel shop. They have tables, booths and if you ar r lucky, comfy chairs that you can totally get lost in the sunday paper. The breakfast sandwiches are good, it would be nice if the cheese was melted and not slapped on cold. The coffee is average, not great but not horrible. For the purpose of our trip, it served its purpose. A light breakfast, a comfy place to read the newspaper without feeling like we needed to rush out. If we are in the area we will stop for a muffin. Do not forget to check in your first time to get a free muffin.

The only reason I’m giving 2 stars is that the cashier was friendly. I ordered a bagel with strawberry jelly and a cup of black coffee. My friend ordered a hot chocolate with no whipped cream. We rec’d our order in a timely manner. My bagel was warn, not toasted, I had strawberry cream cheese, not strawberry jam and my coffee was cold. The hot choc was luke warm and had whipped cream. I though it was going to be a cool new place to go when in Sparks because I love the CA location! I’ll give it another try when I’m in Sparks.

I stopped in for lunch between clients. I ordered the tuna on a whole wheat everything bagel. It was good. The tuna salad is a little sweet. Not sure what they use for dressing. The shop was clean. The employee that was working there began mopping the floor while I was there. I don’t mind, except that she didn’t wait for me to leave before mopping where I was. The bathroom was dimly lit but looked clean. The price was reasonable for three mini muffins a sandwich and a beverage. About $ 10.00.

I really do love My Favorite Muffin on Vista. I alternate between them and Mr. Pickles on a semi-regular basis depending on my mood. My Favorite Muffin has a great little«home town» café feel about the place. They over a huge variety of muffins. I don’t care for muffins so I don’t typically partake however they have tins you can purchase full of mini-muffins or you can purchase larger muffins in a box. They also have a slushi menu that I’ve never tried. I go for the bagel sammiches.(I spelled that wrong on purpose). Anyhow, I always get the Turkey and Havarti on the Swiss Onion Bagel. They have a huge assortment of bagels so maybe one of these days I’ll branch out — but for now I love me some Turkey and Havarti on the Swiss Onion. I typicaly get it toasted. They make it quick and include a pickle. Sometimes I get a coffee as well. They always have a smile and they have a rewards program(buy a certain number and get one free). Never a bad experience.

I knew this place was here for years, but had never stopped in. Its a really nice local place. Great service, awesome selection. Now I don’t need to worry that Einsteins here kinda sucks. Got a good bagel shop to frequent now.

I order a Southern Tradition on a plain bagel with sausage. My favorite bagel shop in sparks. Moving from Southern California I have been looking to find a new breakfast spot and this it! Very clean and the muffin display is amazing. Worth checking out!

The bagels, coffee, and muffins were equally as good as the Reno location on California, but the atmosphere was not the same. It kind of took away from the charm of the my favorite muffin experience, but overall it’s obvious that they care about customer service.

I used to love coming here during the Fall season because I love their pumpkin spice muffins which are only available in the Fall but I was disappointed when I came here today. It was 9am in the morning and the muffin case was nearly empty. The only muffin flavors were blueberry, cranberry cheesecake, cherry cheesecake, orange cranberry and double berry. We asked the girl on the register if they were going to make more & she said, «what we have now is what we have for the rest of the day.» In that case, I went for the cherry cheesecake & double berry for my sister. They were delicious as always. We also got the Big Apple & Holey Guacamole bagel sandwiches to go. It was just sad that they didn’t have much to offer.

I love everything about this place. The bagels are yummy, the muffins come in awesome flavors, and the smoothies are great. Even if I come in 10 mins till closing and they have already put everything away, she still made me a smoothie. Sweet. I only wish they were open All frickin day! I come back every time I can. Did I mention they make bagel sandwiches and have coffee too?! Don’t forget to check in and get a free muffin!

Seriously? I haven’t written a review for My Favorite Muffin before? When I was pregnant with my second child, I literally ate here once a week. It was my go to breakfast place. My 4 year old loves the mini-muffins. I love the bagel breakfast sandwiches and my husband always gets the Lox. The food is very consistent and good. Now that I’ve been back with my now 1 year old, I’ve been ordering a size of eggs. They’re always so nice about ordering off the menu. The only reason that I knocked one star off is the cooking method of the egg. They microwave the mixed eggs in a plastic container. Yes, I microwave eggs too at home but I make sure to use glass containers. There is something not 100% right about microwaving in plastic… call me paranoid but I’d rather be safe than sorry. :)

I love their muffins! They are so moist and delicious! I’ve had their muffins several times, and every time they are consistently amazing. It’s a cute, little café that gives you plenty of reasons to love them. Their service is good, even when they have a line to the door, they get each and every customer taken care of rapidly. They have a large variety of bagels, bagel sandwiches, coffees, smoothies and of course, muffins. I love a good muffin and I am picky, at that. I want something moist and flavorful, but not too sugary and having a wet texture. My Favorite Muffin seems to have the perfect balance down. They keep me satisfied and wanting more, every time I leave. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, for whatever mood you’re in. The only thing I didn’t like was the last time I went, it was kinda messy, but they were fairly busy and it’s hard to eat one of their muffins and not get moist, little crumbs everywhere! But I must say, it is the perfect place to grab a bite for breakfast or lunch, whether you stay or take it to go, you’ll have a wonderful(and tasty!) experience. Way to go, My Favorite Muffin!
