I’ve been to a couple of their wedding gigs. 2 distinctively different weddings and we enjoyed both of them. Both of which were reflective of the celebrated wedding couples. Kept the events moving throughout the night which made it an enjoyable experience. :) would definitely recommend amplified for your next event.

After working with Ken and Amplified Entertainment for the past year or so, I have nothing but the best to say about their business and staff.
Amplified is the Official DJ of the Reno Bighorns, they began live mixing music during Bighorns game during the 2014 – 15 season. Ken and his team have enhanced our fan experience and increased our entertainment value tremendously. His knowledge of the DJ/​entertainment industry is unprecedented in Reno. His staff has been so great to work, with our players requested they arrive at the games early to play music during pregame shootaround.
Aside from Amplified’s DJ skills, Ken has turned the entertainment company into a fantastic promotions and marketing company as well. many of the top shows at the Knitting Factory and in other venues around Reno are promoted by Ken and Amplified.
Due to Ken’s ability to create relationships and help his clients in anyway possible, I highly recommend Amplified Entertainment to anyone looking to entertain their clients, friends and family. Thanks Amplified!

5 stars isn’t enough to give Amplified Entertainment for doing such great jobs at parties and events. They have the best DJ’s/MC (Ken especially) and will work with you to make your event successful. Always a party when Ken is the DJ!!!

5 Stars isn’t enough for me to give to this Company. I’ve had the privilege to see this Company grow from an «Idea» to what it is now, a great business. While almost everyone can bring almost the same thing on the table for this type of business, not everyone can give the dedication and sincere hard work and attention to details as this Company would. I believe that it all starts with Ken Allen and his leadership and his «contagious» love for what he does rubs off to the rest of the group and benefits us, the customers. Ken’s love for the «community», whether it’s the Filipino, Asian or Latino, one will sense the sincerity of him «giving back» matters but yet still gives his «100%» as he always does in ours since 2006. Amplified has done, the Wedding anniversary for my in-​laws, helped organize a fund-​raiser for our community other than doing the Opening and Championship weekends for for the Asian-​American community basketball league. If you are looking for a DJ company to «Amplify» the love, the fun or create that atmosphere for you, Amplified is the name, Entertainment is the game.

This isn’t your typical review. I’ve worked for Amplified for a few years. Being a member of the company I have witnessed and worked at numerous events often being Kens «right hand man». No matter what type of event or size production two things meant the most to Ken and that was details and client satisfaction.
Kens attention to the smallest of details that others would often overlook is what sets him apart from other companies in his industry. On top of that his relentless eagerness and passion to please his clients is what drives him to produce the best events in Northern Nevada! Whether it’s a concert, wedding, school dance, or company Christmas party, you can feel comfortable and confident that you’re dealing with a professional with close to 20 years in the business. I have know and used this company way before it even existed. This is only possible because I have been around the owner from his days back at KWNZ and many other of his ventures. Ken and Sherilyn are both great folks that provide great services. They are very versatile in the talent they offer not only for great celebrations but in the awesome concerts they offer to this community. I have noticed that they are always raising funds for charities and doing what it takes to be a great part of this community. I have been to several events hosted by this company and have never experienced a negative vibe. The music is always great and this Dj’s are the best of the best. So if your looking for a small get together entertainment or entertainment for an entire city, these are your folks.

I was referred to Amplified Entertainment from a close relative who has worked with them before.
I was in contact with Ken. He worked with a few vendors in Hawaii, where I was getting married.
I had no idea how important the DJ was until I started talking to him. He was really professional and super knowledgable on EVERYTHING! Half the stuff he brought up, didn’t even cross my mind. He basically became my wedding reception planner. Along with emailing a list of special song he needed, he recommended songs. I specifically wanted songs to be cut short for the father/​daughter dance and first dance because my dad and husband don’t like attention and he cut them short to where it still sounded good not just cut and stopped. He also took care of the songs that played during my video montage, let me tell you, he did an amazing job! He took care of speaking with my wedding planner and equipment vendors to talk about what he needed so I did not have to be a middle person.
He had the perfect playlist for me, where everyone had a great time! I forgot to mention he was also the MC for the night and he was awesome. He has a nice microphone voice. It’s not annoying, it perfect tone and he annunciated to where everyone could hear and understand him.
I highly recommend using Ken of Amplified Entertainment. He gave me a reasonable price and worked with me with what I needed and what he needed to make my wedding reception, the best ever!
