Great food, I’ve never had roast beef so tender. What made it even better was the service. Vincent and Katie are awesome. The whole staff is super friendly, but they went above and beyond. My only complaint is that they don’t have one in So Cal!

I had the ham and cheese toasted and the tortilla soup. Both were delicious. I will definitely go there again.

I have now sent my poorly prepared Chicago sausage sandwich back THREE times. I had one here last night, and it was great. Looked just like the one in the picture. Lots of peppers, nicely melted cheese and a discernible amount of marinara. A perfectly toasted roll. Not so tonight. The last one they brought out was the worst of all, with the roll toasted on the outside and nearly raw undercooked sausage. As for the roll toasted on the outside, the manager said that’s how they do it. It is not. The fourth one just came out: hardly any sauce, roll still not toasted the way it was last night per my request both nights to actually TOAST it. On the inside, not the outside. The manager admitted that the cook tonight is not the same one as last night. I asked for sauce, and he brought me some sauce. With the long wait to order — their understaffing at the cash registers on a Saturday night at dinner time is a mystery — this was a completely different experience from last night. Do note that the food here is not inexpensive, ingredients are basic and portions are small. There will be lots of unappealing«baby» lettuce in your salad. On the plus side, the menu is very appealing and the autumn squash soup was delicious. I will try this restaurant again in the future, because I do like Mcallister’s classic food concept and pleasant hospitality. I’m hoping that the manager can implement some consistency in the kitchen, train the servers about what various menu items should look like and get the staffing up to speed.

Good service, clean restaurant. The sandwich was a little colder than I’d like, which is weird since it came out so quickly… makes me wonder. Other than that, the food was decent and the serving size was respectable. Would come back again.

Sunday is likely the worst day to come to eat here. Service was awful. Totally understaffed. Took 30 minutes to get our lunch. Stay away on Sunday. Not a single staff member or manager even bothered to apologize for the wait. I may never come back again.

Sloppy, barely warm, and overpriced… I walked into the place excited to try it for the first time since meeting some of the corp guys on a golf course in St Louis. WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT! The best part was no joke the sweet tea. First time, last time.

Pretty decent sandwiches, much better than subway or Jason’s deli, I prefer Panera Bread or Corner Bakery for the food, but the sweet tea is great! This location was just remodeled and it seems they did a nice job. I love that they have outdoor seating, yesterday was a beautiful day and we sat outside with our dog and had a relaxing meal. Overall good but not great food great tea and nice amenities.

Great place for lunch! Highly recommend McAlister’s club, chicken salad sandwich and their sweet tea! Also, chocolate chip cookies here are a must! Search for the gooey ones they are the best. Another bonus is that the children’s meals are $ 1.99!!! A total deal!

Decent deli with good options. I ordered the ham and swiss toaster. The sandwich came with a dijon mayonnaise that was loaded on pretty thick– it was all I could really taste. Had to scrape some of it off. My wife went for some turkey sandwich, which she enjoyed. We both opted for the potato salad as our side(there are a few other options like house chips, mac n cheese, etc.) — it was tasty. There’s a decent kids menu that’s really affordable(PB&J, mac n cheese and a kid-sized soda for under $ 3) and I saw a few deserts hanging around. The interior was clean, albeit a little dated? Felt like I time travelled back to 1994 or something. The staff was overly friendly– we had a couple of visits to ask if we needed a refill or anything else. This is counter service– order your food and then take your number back to a table of your choosing. They bring you the food, and voila. All in all a good experience. The sweet tea was not very good, imho.

Highly recommend the sweet chipotle chicken sandwich. A spicy, yet sweet taste that hits the spot.

The sandwiches are pretty good. This was a decent place in Southlake to find something that would satisfy my hunger while also being somewhat refreshing during these dog days of summer. The tuna salad sandwich definitely accomplished that!

This is my 10 year old’s favorite place to eat! Good sandwiches and salads and reasonably priced, especially for kids. I think a kid’s sandwich was 99 cents with a side of chips or applesauce and a bag of teddy grahams. Kid’s drink 75 cents.

I am a pain in the butt when it comes to chain restaurants, but not when it comes to McAlister’s… I happened to find this one near where I was working. Super busy at lunch but the staff was friendly and efficient… I was shocked at how fast my to go order showed up. Also, tried the Cuban Panni, it was awesome… the pork was smokey and tender, inhaled it!
