Consistently burn the chicken and give me ½ of the chicken and rice I get at other locations. I live in Keller and will drive down the other end of Southlake to get a bowl instead of getting ½ a bowl at this location. Thought I had bad luck the first two or three times, but it is what you get when you come to this location.

There burritos are half the size of the other Southlake location! Meat was a little to over cooked but still good

I’m not sure how you can screw up an order that is printed in front of you, but they did. No cheese, no salsa and both were CLEARLY on the order. It wasn’t because they were busy, there was no one inside the restaurant. I won’t go back to this location.

I so want this place to do better! Time and time again I go back thinking surely they are not always going to burn the chicken(black and crunchy) and surely they will fire the douchebags that suck working the prep line. But alas, nope! At least tonight the youngsters were nice. It’s usually the late twenty year olds, covered in piercing that are unbelievably rude. So much for a closer Chipotle. I’d rather drive to Wautaga or the other side of Southlake for better food and service.

This brand new Chipotle is pretty rad, however, you can tell the employees are in the learning stages based on the wait. We had about 10 people in front of us and waited 20 minutes to order. That’s unheard of at Chipotle! The orders were perfect! This location definitely upholds the Chipotle standards.(I’m from Colorado, so I am very picky at Chipotle) The staff is very friendly and the young gentleman at the register kept his cool as another guest yelled at him.

I had no idea this location was open already and was pleasantly surprised to find that it was when I was driving by today. This one is at the Davis Blvd and Southlake Blvd intersection(next to Vertskebap). Anyway, I’m glad to have a Chipotle fairly close to home, but getting to it through this increasingly frustrating intersection may keep me heading the extra miles to the one on Denton Hwy… So I stopped in to get a burrito for takeout after the main lunch rush(like around 1:45 or so) and got in and out of the store quickly. The food was typical Chipotle yumminess. The person who assembled my burrito today certainly wasn’t stingy with the ingredients as it was full to almost bursting(but I managed to eat it all!). One thing to note if you stop by this location at lunch time is that it’s smaller than other locations(at least all the ones I’ve been to) — a lot smaller. There MIGHT be seating for 25 – 30 people inside(squeezed together like sardines), plus seating outside on the patio. And the majority of the inside seating is at one long bank of tables that starts near the front door and ends near the counter where you order. People standing in line waiting to order would be right behind your seat if you sit on the side with your back to the windows(and I mean right behind). This location really seems to be geared more for takeout. Normally I’d give Chipotle a ‘4’, but I’ve deducted a star because the facility is way too small to be practical(what were they thinking??). I ate at a Chipotle several years ago in Manhattan that was way bigger than this place, and real estate is just a tad pricier there than in Southlake, TX.
