They were definitely fast and efficient, but it was pricey. The tech didn’t ask my permission before making pricey changes to my bike. In the end, the total price was a huge surprise and I left upset.

Great experience. I went in to buy a bike for the first time in 20 years. I spent an hour with the sales person. I left the store with all the education I needed to make a decision. There was no pressure to buy. He also never tried to up sell me. It was a lot of fun. Great experience. I’ll be back bb

I was in the market for my first clipless setup. Dave was patient and took the time to answer every single one of my questions. He put me up on the trainer, and because all I needed was a seat adjustment, didn’t charge for a fitting. There was no rush to buy, no sales pressure and it was evident he wanted me to have the right stuff. My bike and I feel like the same machine now. Best $ 170 I’ve spent.

These guys always take their time and teach me about the bikes and never seem annoyed by my endless questions. They helped me with my mountain bike and I am about to buy my road bike from them. They are friendly and always remember me and my sister when we walk through the doors. Great group at the Southlake and Hurst location.

I have recently started using Bicycles Inc in Southlake to work on my bikes(a Specialized Enduro and a Stumpjumper) and I have been very disappointed with the cost, the wait times and the service. Two recent incidents have caused me to re-evaluate using them for any future work on my bikes. I had the Stumpjumper in with them for a full tune up and 2 weeks later when I got it back it was leaking hydraulic fluid from the rear caliper handle. The tech said that he «forgot» to call me about it even though he called about the chain being worn the day before. My choice was to take the bike and pay the $ 90 shop fee or leave it for another 2 weeks for this issue to be addressed. This is not the level of quality service that I expect from a shop charging as much as they do. On the Enduro I had a bolt come out of the chainstay. I called specialized and they informed me I had to order the part from a dealer. I called up the shop and was told you have to order the full kit — it will take 5 days to get here and it will be $ 40. The fact that you have to order the full kit is not the shops fault that is Specialized so I cannot fault them for that. What I do take issue with is going in to pickup the aforementioned bolt kit and being told it was now $ 60. When I get handed the kit it still has the sticker on it with my name, my number and a line that says«dealer cost — $ 30». Be aware that ANYTHING you are buying from these guys is being marked up 100%!!! I understand that it is a business and everyone has a right to make a buck but that is ridiculous. My advice — order your parts online and use Blue Bonnet Bikes in Lewisville for the work. Their pricing is far more reasonable, they don’t price gouge their customers and you get timely friendly and knowledgeable service.

Got my 10-yr old Trek 820 fixed up there. It was done in a week with a new chain, seat, hand grips, and cables. The whole thing was cleaned up and gone over with a fine tooth comb and was like new when I picked it up! Kudos to the Bicycles Inc. team! By the way, the whole thing cost $ 170, much cheaper than a new bike of this caliber.

We had been pondering taking up cycling for a while, and we knew we wanted to make a solid investment in good quality bikes when we did, so we went to Bicycles Inc. to see just how full our piggy bank would have to be before making the purchase. There we met Stewart, who we told that we were interested in buying in the future, but it wouldn’t be for a while. Even so, he spent a good hour with us that day assessing our needs, our goals, height, etc, to match us up with the best possible bike, tell us what accessories we would need, and even talk about local trails. I have truly never been so impressed with service I got from someone who probably didn’t expect to ever see a dime from us. When an unexpected circumstance enabled us to buy, we went back. We got a great deal, great service, and we couldn’t be happier.

Very friendly salesman who seemed honest and sincere. The real downside to this place is the service guys. They will tell you one thing on the phone then you show up and the story changes. I wasted about 100 and several days trying to get my road bike worked on and never got anywhere! I ended up switching shops to Grapevine Bike Center. They are much better.

Finally got new wheels about a month ago, and I looooove ‘em! We still go in and bug John just about every Sunday, and he continues to be tireless in answering ALL of our questions. Got set up with some shoes yesterday, and gave ‘em a go on the spin bikes this morning — can’t wait to get them on my new bike outside. It really helps to have someone explain how shoes help out(my toes didn’t go numb this morning!) and who can anticipate your needs well in advance of ever actually needing them. This location makes me happy every time I go in.

I’ve been a customer of Bicycles Inc. for a freakin’ long time(initially at the old Harwood location, then the Granbury Rd. location, and now here in Keller — though I’ve only been to the new Harwood location once and I’ve never been to the Arlington location). I have received consistently good service and am very impressed with the knowledge of the staff. But be forewarned, you ain’t gonna find Wal-Mart prices here. What you are going to find are quality bicycles backed by the store. Take good care your bicycle and it will last for a very long time. Also there are informal organized rides that depart from this location. I’ve never gone on a ride, but I mean too. The pack breaks into groups based on pace, so it should be good for all riding styles(if you are a road rider that is). Even if you don’t want to ride in a group, the store can provide details on best bike routes in and around Keller. Bicycles Inc. also has just about every thing you might need to make your cycling enjoyable and safe. If you have not been to Bicycles Inc., stop in and check it out.

I use both this location and the one on Harwood. I think the selection is good on much better quality bikes than can be found at walmart or Target and fair prices. Howver the service at both is just like at Apple stores — you gotta go gettem, which can be frustrating, but the service is good once you get it.

Cool bike shop in Keller. Cool guys that do great repair work at a fair price, and a nice selection of bikes, if not a bit on the pricey side. If you are in the area, and need a bike, check this place out.
