Northwestern Grille

First off, the food is great here. There is a huge selection of bottled drinks to choose from. Salads made to order, fresh sandwiches and homemade soups and chili are available. I have a favorite, which is the chicken chili. Here are my issues.
The chili, my personal favorite, has only been available one time out of the seven times I have been here. When I asked why, I was told because they only make it when they feel like it… OK. The salad I had today was very good and made to order. 2x servings of lettuce + 1 serving of dressing + 1 cherry tomato sliced in half + ½ of a hard boiled egg = Not a Happy Customer… and all this for the outrageous price of $ 8!!!
This last visit of no chili and a overpriced salad with disproportionate toppings is definitely my last visit.

This is the type of place we could stand to have more of — they have a lot of great choices on the menu, many of them healthy and all made with extremely fresh ingredients. They do sandwiches and wrap, both hot and cold, and a variety of salads including the option to choose your own creation. There are also a handful of soups available daily and a plethora of snacks and treats you can add on to your order.
I really enjoy the quality of the food here — the interior doesn’t allow for a lot of sit-​down guests — though it seems they do a large amount of carry-​out business. That might be my suggestion for lunch, as it can take a bit longer than one might prefer during the lunch rush if you order in. The prices are a little bit more than what I would like to pay for lunch on a daily basis, but at least you feel like you are getting quality for the price.

Go here a lot as it is right by my office. The food is great and of very high quality — Your typical deli fare with sandwiches, wraps etc. Order something with chicken — for some reason their chicken tastes amazing! Prices are decent — Not cheap, but just right. Very clean restaurant too — you can tell they take great pride in their product.
The only qualm I have is that it takes a while to get your order during the lunch rush (which is the only time I go.) It seems that this time thing can be easily fixed if they just put together a better system of taking orders (i.e. efficiency… Henry Ford would be terrified of this place).
If you’re in the Southfield 12/​Northwester Highway area, go here for a quick lunch. You’ll be pleased.

Recently had catering brought in for a work event & the food was excellent! The Cali Chicken Club wrap was out of this world, one of the best wraps I have ever had. Definitely a great little find for lunch in Southfield…

I always get the Turkey artichoke wrap with the honey mustard on the side for dipping. It’s so fresh and so big. I mean lots of great Turkey breast and munster cheese! YUMMMM!
My coworkers eat lunch out on the daily, I’m more of a brown bag it type gal but this place is on my go to list for those «oh darn I forgot my lunch days!»
There are plenty of choices for a good sandwich on Northwestern Highway but this place has the variety you will need. They have something to everyone in your office for sure!

For a semi-​quick (10 min) lunch pickup, this place is fantastic. You can tell the owners really care about what they’re serving. Since discovering this place I try to go a couple times a week. The menu is extensive enough I could probably eat there the whole work week. :)

The common lunch time routine at my office goes something like this:
«Did you bring your lunch today?»
«No»
“Where are we going?”
«I don’t know what do you want»
«Northwestern Grille?!»
«Yeah!»
We have been working our way through the menu and I have not had a bad thing there. We often eat here several days a week because the menu is so varied that there’s something new to try! They have soups, salads, cold sandwiches, hot sandwiches, wraps, breakfast, fruit, and more. Also if you want something not on the menu just ask! Its all made to order so they will put together what ever you want.
My go-​to on the menu is the chicken salad sandwich on sourdough toast, and I add mustard. BEST chicken salad ever! It is sooo good.
The people who work there are all very friendly and positive, we go there so often that they know us and have running jokes with some of my co-​workers.
If you have not been yet, GO! Get in line, pick up your drink and chips, order your food, move down to the register to pay and then wait for your yummy goodness of homemade love to take back to your office!
