I had the Good Morning Joe, and it is not all the time that a single burger can fill me up. This did, however. The burger was juicy, tasty, and cooked to perfection. It was topped with a delicious sauce(Joe Spud’s original recepie), and had on it a heaping of fresh fries, crispy bacon, a tomato, and a fried egg. The egg was gooey and perfectly cooked, adding a great flavor to this hearty burger. If you are ever in Joe’s neighborhood, GOTHERE. It has some of the best food I ever had the pleasure of tasting.

Thank you, Joe Spud’s for: 1. A juicy and delicious burger with high quality meat, edgy sauce flavors(I chose Chipotle Ketchup), and a soft and flavorful, toasted bun. 2. A long list of *free* toppings such as garlic mushrooms, jalapenos, and grilled onions as well as the traditional tomato, lettuce and pickles. I believe Joe’s also has more substantial non-free toppings, but I skipped those over. 3. Jamming music. 4. Kind service, good recommendations, and sense of humor. 5. 1⁄3 lb. gourmet burger made to order for $ 6. I didn’t try the spuds but after having their burger, I have no doubt that anything from this truck is awesome. I’ll be back, for sure.

I’ve been walking by this truck quite often on my way to work at Drexel and finally tried it the other day. I went with the BBQ Joe and it was worth the $ 8 price tag. It was a massive burger topped with bacon, cheddar cheese, onion straws, and fried onions. The sauce is actually a Dr. Pepper BBQ sauce and I really enjoyed it. I saw someone get bacon ranch fries and they are next up for me!

Joe Spud’s, you win. I thought The Spot had the best gourmet burgers from a food truck, but your Cheesy Joe burger bested the two burgers I had from there. Kudos to you for using big, soft, glazed-top buns from Le Bus, high-quality beef, two kinds of cheese, thick tomato slices, and fresh lettuce. Bigger kudos for topping your burger with a small amount of fresh-cut fries. Whoa!!! This is an evil sandwich, my friends, and it’s your fault you’ve made me gain another pound or two. $ 8 is a hefty price to pay for a Cheesy Joe, but it’s well worth the money.

Heart-a-tack, paging Heart-a-tack… OMG, you know how they say the worse it is for you, the better it tastes? Yeah, that’s what’s happening hear. And you know what, I will go to my grave with a BBQ Joe in hand. I just cannot say no to this oh so bad for you but oh so good to your taste buds burger. Seriously, the BBQ Joe is where it is at. It’s got a splashing of BBQ sauce, onion strings, fries and bacon. It’s bursting with so much flavor that your eyes sorta wiggle around with each bite. Yeah, it’s that good. They also have some pretty tasty fries. But the special part is not in the fires, but the array of dipping sauces. The house sauce is super delish. I highly recommend it. But really, you cannot go wrong if you are a burger romantic like myself. Yes, that is right, I romanticize about burgers that are this good.
