Overview: Two-story Days Inn hotel located near Memphis, Tennessee. Most rooms open out towards the parking lot or outdoor hallways; and the hotel is located next to a Wafflehouse, a doughnut shop, and a few other small stores. Good: From the outside, the hotel looks nice and inviting. Visitors are able to park near their rooms, and there are stores located within walking distance. Bad: The rooms are in very bad shape. The room I stayed in had a table, a desk, two beds, refrigerator, microwave, large TV, and bathroom with granite countertop. The problem with the room was that both comforters were severely stained(cigarette burns, discoloration, and sewn patching), the carpeting was stained even worse than the comforters, and the arms on the chairs were worn to the frame. My other complaint is a common problem I often see in neglected hotel rooms; moldy air conditioners. This is a problem that is usually smelled and not seen. Air conditioners, when not cleaned regularly, will grow mold because of the moisture. When the air conditioner is turned on, the mold spores are sent airborne throughout the room. In this particular room, I turned the AC on for 5 seconds and could immediately smell the mold. Conclusion: To the owners of this hotel, I suggest investing some money in the small things that make for a pleasant hotel stay; new bedding, throw out the old furniture and replace on a regular basis, steam clean the carpeting on a regular basis and replace severely stained sections. Lastly, spare our lungs and have your AC units cleaned on a regular basis. These suggestions should benefit you in the long run by decreasing room refunds and increasing return customers.

DONOTGOHERE! After reading other reviews I decided that this would be a good, inexpensive place to stay outside of Memphis, TN. Within seconds of walking into my room, my feet were covered with little black dots(I was wearing flip flops). The room was so filled with fleas(at least that’s what I hope they were) that they started attacking me the moment I walked in. Thankfully I hadn’t put anything down or made it more than two steps away from the door so I could make a quick exit. When I went back to the desk to tell them and ask for my money back, they didn’t even seem to care. They just said that I wouldn’t be charged. It was such a disgusting experience! I couldn’t wait to take a shower someplace else!
